Hi
First isn't it great that the most payed rider in the world "never gave up", what an achivment to keep on going:)
For the record Yamaha changed pretty much everything with the Yamaha to 2004 from the bike Biaggi had to a very good bike, thhen Rossi made it a winner because he was way best on the grid at the time, today he would never achieve the same.
Spies probably had a less of a Factory bke than Cal have today, and had to push harder due to that.
Cheers Claes

You keep telling yourself that dear. Some people will even believe you!

It's clear from Valentino's own comments that if he has the perfect bike, perfectly set up to suit his style and conditions then he can win, if he doesn't then he can't.
Simple as that! Always was always will be.

Rossi haters keep hating! It's funny reading your comments. Even if he won every race from now on you'd find an excuse about why he has always been crap and only won because of this and that and this and that!

You HATE the fact that Rossi won the last race and will come up with ANY old crap to back it up!

17 years at the top and still winning races! Go #46!!!!!

Valentino Rossi is in fact the preferred racer in history, that is an indisputable fact, like it or not and just because he spent two, largely fruitless, years with Ducati doesn't mean that he's is a bike developer nor does it mean he can ride any bike and win (as we've all seen this past weekend he had little competition). Furthermore if he'd stayed at Honda instead of taking on new challenges, he'd probably would be no better off as the new competition has kept him at bay since 2010 hence no new world championship wins(stick that in your(twisted) pipe and smoke it).

If you win, you win.

As posted on another thread, even a fully fit Jlo would have had to fight with rossi on the weekend based on his largest gap ahead of rossi when both finished, fit & didnt crash (13+ seconds) compared to Rossi's gap to an injured Jlo = 15+ seconds.

Nothing wrong with pedro, MM wasnt slowed by his injuries either last round or that before and dont forget Cal...the bloke many say should get rossi's ride, what was wrong with him...nothing.

So apart from Jlo, rossi beat all the "aliens" fair and square. What changed? - Rossi found something (anything) that gave him more confidence.

Haters will keep hating, the rest of the world moves on.

people would have different views and they should be respected on who is the GOAT of Motogp in the Modern time. to the impartial mind, we have to look back of how many wcs that a rider achieved during his carrier and the best evidence to prove ones claim's is the number of world championship that he got as per records of the moto gp. Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Rossi and stoner raced each other and to me they are great riders of the modern time, of course we have to add MM, this guy would be one of the future greatest MOTO gp rider, unless bad luck hinders him. from Rossi's performance in Assen, it would show that he has not forgotten on how to win race, so clearly, his non-winning in the previous moto gp seasons was not due to his disappreciating performance but a less 100% performance of his bike and maybe he will win again in the succeeding races. let us just enjoy watching moto gp, it is nice today we have good number of riders of riders who are winning-capable. have a nice day
