@OnceWaz
how about some facts then

Youngest pole position in Premiere Class 20 years 2 months and 4 days (COTA USA 2013)
Youngest winner in Premiere Class 20 years 2 months and 5 days (COTA USA 2013)
Youngest rider to take successive podium positions in the Premiere Class (Qatar, COTA USA, Spain, France 2013)
Youngest rider to take a fastest lap in the Premiere Class (Qatar 2013)
4 successive podium positions in first 4 Premiere Class Grand Prix (shared with Max Biaggi)
Most wins as a teenager in all classes (26)
Youngest Spanish rider to take a pole postion 16 years and 89 days (France 2009)
Youngest rider to win 4 successive Grand Prix (Mugello, Silverston, Assen, Barcelona 2010)
Youngest rider to lead the Premiere Class championship (Post COTA USA 2013)
Youngest rider to win at least 1 race in 3 classes of GP Racing

And surely, heritage riders would be those before Rossi. Cal was talking about the last 15 years. Skulking off to pilot ridiculous V8s badly does not a heritage rider

... make

Marquez is brilliant on track but is also very good at the media thing and it is that which will guarantee him superstar status (which he already has in Spain). No one else can touch him in that department.

Spot on MrFill.

Go easy on the facts though because certain elements get their feathers ruffled on here. They will laugh at achievments and facts and simply say that they don't count because its not "head to head".

BTW, the moaning continues in V8's with the latest being he needs a year off from any motorsport because even the 3 domestic rounds so far, has been more busy that he would like.

Here is a thought, how about someone pay me money to crash their equipment because I think I'm the greatest thing since sliced bread and then complain that I need a break from all motorsports....

Champion all right...champion chump!

This is a very political statement by Crutchlow. Marquez is good but nowhere near Rossi level, he has not even beaten Dani in points this year. Anyone can win one or two races on that powerful Honda.

Crutchlow is doing the right thing by praising Rossi, though. Rossi is now back and undisputed No. 1 rider at Yamaha, he is leading the team. By praising Rossi -and indirectly disrespecting Jorge- Crutchlow is trying to ensure he can still retain the Tech 3 seat next season.

Not that Rossi needs Crutchlow's seal of approval. Crutchlow is using Marquez as tool to praise Rossi and further his position in Yamaha camp. Very shrewd.

lolz, I have a hard time understanding why people on this site tell the performers to shut up and ride, but in Cal's case I completely echo that sentiment, cmon Cal, we know you want a chance, but royal *** kissing makes u look like a right tool.

Will this guy say or do anything to get a ride? He obviously has no problems with putting on a 'show.' MotoGP's integrity keeps finding new lows.

In stoners 2nd year in gp.. 10 wins and a world championship (yes with a bike with superior straightline speed but his teamate with 4 prior years with ducati only managed 1 win that season Rossi also won the 'ship in his 2nd year and lorenzo in his 3rd.. lets see marquez do that first before we make any claims. I'm not ruling it out, but it is a bit soon to say the things Crutchlow has said. Marquez is great no doubt but still very young. Pedrosa got 2 wins as a rook and marquez' only win came at a circuit no one knew. Also intersting that crutchlow claims marquez' moto2 bike was inferior to espargaros.. It was my understanding that he had the best bike respol could buy..

thereal Dave.

I have been a naughty boy by CRASH standards lately, for disagreeing with posters that slagged off at Rossi for the last 2 and half years after he won Assen.
Wonder if I will get this post deleted for agreeing 100% with you and Mr fill?
Don't know if any of you remember Cal sucking up about how good Stoner was 2 years ago.
What is it with this guy?
