MotoGP » Healing Lorenzo ‘will push even harder than in Holland’

"I made a huge effort to race at Assen, getting an astonishing fifth position. The situation is still that I need more time to fix the injury though” – Jorge Lorenzo.

His will to do better than in Assen could also mean it will end in tears. Like you said Jorge the championship is long you got away pretty good at Assen, but be smart and don't push the limits another crash could cause bigger problems. Consolidating the gap is better than taking risks and crash. I have a small feeling Lorenzo is overenthusiastic after his 5th spot at Assen.
I can't see Pedrosa winning this weekend either I have a feeling after Rossi's victory he will be shine again this weekend with Marquez 2nd Crutchlow 3rd Lorenzo 4th Pedrosa DNF

No worries JL,, you'll spend more than 60% of track leaning on curves and they are no good to your recovering collarbone, so opting to skip race is not a crime,, and also your teammate has lately shown signs of not letting the Hondas even an inch to enjoy your absence,, recover to your fullest then drop the anchor because your consistency will make life easier... If Rossi is really back then we better fasten our seat belts for some epic thriller... Go go go go go 4699....!!!!!

4sure Lorenzo is not 100% allready, but i think that Sach will not hurt so much like Assen, if at assen he perform so well he even susrprissed Cal on the initial laps i guess at Sach will be even better.. Lorenzo is very smart i think he will do another great job this weekend.. But i dunno about final position..lolo I just hope he avoide more problems..

Jorge you are one tough son of a gun both mentally and physically but Assen and Sachsenring seem to bad tracks for Jorge take the points and dont push to hard.

Pedrosa and Marquez will be the front runners this weekend guys Assen is typically a Yamaha track, Sachsenring though is Pedrosa's stomping ground sorry but I see a fourth maybe third for Rossi guys.

Lorenzo injured his left collarbone, and Sachsenring has 10 left corners as opposed to 3 right corners. That's a lot of leaning on the left, more than in Assen which favours the right. While it doesn't require a lot of pressure to flip the bike and corner to the left, it would mean the injury is more exposed if he crashes.

My layman's prediction for this one is Pedrosa is going to screw up, Rossi is going to shine and Marquez is either going to charge in the early stages then crash, or charge in the later stages and get 4th. I don't see Lorenzo on the podium! Maybe I'll eat my words but Sachsenring is liked by nobody and is considered one of the more technical tracks.
