as it stated by lin Jarvis that sat and fac bikes are almost the same, so it is an opportunity for Cal c to win a race, thus, those friends who are persistently clamoring for cal to have a factory bike would soon be heard by a bike manufacturer and maybe he will take a place of rossi, but cal should avoid to suffer the same fate as that of Ben Spies, otherwise he will be easily forgotten. Conversely, a reasonable mind would never exchange or swap Rossi for Cal their individual moto gp record would speak by itself- res ipsa Loquitur. Have a nice day

Results alone will not get you a factory ride, There is a lot of politics in MotoGP. Lets be honest, Cal talks cr*p a lot, and NO MotoGP team Boss would want that. Yes, it's nice for the fans to hear a rider share the sentiments of the viewers but MotoGP is business, and no business wants their rider talk cr*p a lot. Imagine Cal on factory Ducati and he is not getting results, what will he say then.... a very bad image for the brand. So Cal, shut up, praise all you need to praise, and maybe you'll get a factory bike on a factory team. One example, Nicky Hayden, people would say why did Honds kept him for so long, it's simple, his image is good for Honda and his attitude is pleasant for the team.

I like Cal don't get me wrong, most of the time he is quite entertaining and his riding on the edge of crashing all the time makes him fun to watch as well. BUT he needs to insert his foot in the mouth, he's slapping the hand that feeds him, Yamaha doesn't need to be telling everyone that its satellites are factory spec like Honda does, they don't, simply because the difference between Lorenzo's M1 and Cal's is minimal. Mainly electronics. As someone say before Cal tried Jorge's Chassis before and didn't like it or didn't have the patience to adapt and improve it like Jorge did. YES he's FAST very Fast, but not consistent, he's sloppy in his riding, he crashes a lot in crucial moments, his starts and early pace are poor, HIS MOUTH is BIG, he needs to be an ambassador of his team and Loyal, like Jorge is, anybody remember Honda offering Millions to Jorge to replace Dani? Be loyal and grateful and the rest will come, don't scare other teams away by badmouthing your current.

em.... does anyone really think he cares if 'the beast' is tameable or not?

if you or i were offered a two year deal riding that piece of s**t and were being PAID probably enough coin that you would never need to work again, ever, would you knock it back? of course not.

if cal is offered a factory duke he will snap it up, he might be amazing on it, he might not. but either way, in two years time he will be the one sitting on a yacht smoking havanas while all of us are posting nonsense about whoever is racing. dovi has already given an interview saying how lucky he is that he has been able to sort out not just his but his whole familys future. ride the pig=retire.

This cal is really a crap...
Has a very good bike, makes few stunning laps in qualifiers, messes completely in getting off the starting line, makes more mistakes than others and that messes his results,, comes out and ask for more factory support,,

Complain about bikes, support or praise the other riders, speaks too humble to makeup for all craps he said sometime ago, this is the general way of how cals interview will look like.

He either kick the butt or lick the butt,, his non-sense mouth never knows the diplomatically entertaining way of talking.

re: "Results alone will not get you a factory ride, There is a lot of politics in MotoGP."

exactly. that means keeping your mouth shut all but guarantees you'll end up being screwed over and railroaded. i'm going to allow his comments.

if you're backing it up, you get to say whatever you like. that's rules. he's backing it up.

All the 'informed' comments on here make me laugh. There's a lot more goes on behind the scenes that you or I will ever know about, and slagging off Cal for wanting a factory spec bike because you think it's the same as the Tech 3 bike is hilarious.

How many times has a satellite bike won in MotoGP...

And to whoever wrote 'mainly electronics' as the difference between the two - haven't you SEEN how much difference well set up factory electronics make?!! Just look at WSB! It plays a huge part now, with electronics the difference between an also ran and the podium, ala Jonny Rea!!!

@ Valentinokee46

WHERE in that entire article did he moan?!?!?! He even admits he needs to change himself and his style.

GROW UP! Take your pretty little yellow tinted glasses off!

PS. THE GUY DEFINITELY DESERVES A FACTORY RIDE!!!
