What can you say?? Jorge should not have raced at Assen then maybe he would have healed a bit more by now. All he has done is set himself back to square one!! There's a time and place for heroics and a race track is not one of them!! Never mind, the show goes on !!!

I highly doubt Jorge's injury had anything to do with this high side. He needed to do damage limitation in Assen, and he succeeded. He was trying to do the same here, he was unlucky.

If I had to guess, I would say that the championship is now down to Pedro and Dani.

Just watch Marquez reel in the points now! Lots of 1st place finishes coming up for Marquez where he'll snatch at least 5 points from Dani each time! Realistically Rossi is too far behind to take the title, it's now between Marc and Dani!

Damm what a situacion, surgery again.. i was hoping that he would be ok but bad lucke for Jorge!! He did everytingh right at Assen was brave and he won that bet, but he enter here at Sach like if he was at 100% ready for more.. I still say the same i was not expecting to wach jorge attacking so hard on the beggining of one practice session, it dosen t make any sence to risk so much.. I guess he will learn with this situacion because he could had avoid this, he knows how fast he is and even when he miss the fastest lap he know where he will find the time he need, he dont need to be the Boss all the time, The Boss only need to show up on race and even on this race Lorenzo had one excuse to at least chill out a bit and just bring more points to home insted of try to Win.. just my view

@ Here we go - "There's a time and place for heroics and a race track is not one of them!! "

You don't usually watch MotoGP then???

@ CRT - "I would say that the championship is now down to Pedro and Dani."

Don't you mean Pedro & Marquez?? Don't write off Rossi - He's capable of pulling back a deficit!

I wouldn't be too quick to count Lorenzo out.
He might come back for the next GP and then... Anything can happen.

Still right now this is quite a blow for Yamaha and the favourites are now the Honda boys..

This excessice faith lorenzo has in his tires is bringing his downfall....

ya putting a super fast lap on the go is surely very enthrilling.....but there is that slight slight chance that some part of the tire may not be upto temperature....or the track condition may have changed......its for that reason you should wait a bit before going out blazing....

luck doesnt always hold

he crashed in Assen due to excessive confidence and the same over here......even worse seeing where he landed...

By heroics I mean trying to race with broken bones, especially when they have been broken a day or so before!! I don't mean racing heroics, but I didn't think this needed to be explained - obviously, it does!!! Actually, I have been watching MotoGP for over 20 years or so, so do have a good idea about what goes on !!! I wouldn't have used the word "heroics" but it has been branded about since Jorge raced at Assen. I would have used a word more like - daft!!!!
