Lorenzo has suddenly started making many more mistakes , since this year the situations are reversed and it's him for once that has to catch Pedrosa in the title race and not other way around. He has now crashed at 3 GP weekends in succession. We haven't seen this of him since his rookie season....

i think he was abit daft pushing so hard
maybe he was trying to prove a point
stamping his authority
but it failed
he should have saved it for the race

good luck to him on his recovery

And people wonder why Rossi wasn't a factor on the Duc. Pedrosa, Stoner, and Lorenzo have shown now that speed without consistency will end badly in the long run. Rossi's strength has always been his calm approach to going fast and is why his outstanding career has been mostly without major injury. The other "fast" guys have quite a history of big crashes from relatively short time on the big bikes. Hopefully they learn from history and don't end up fishing instead of riding.

Agreed, Rossi has been in this class since 2000 and has only missed 4 races due to injury in all that time, that's 6 years longer than Pedrosa and Stoner, and 8 years longer than Jorge, he's already said he wants to break Bayliss's record as the oldest moto gp race winner so i think he'll still be racing after Pedrosa and Lorenzo have hung up there leathers.

@herewego, if you have been watching motogp for 20 years, you will recall Swchantz, Doohan, Gardner all racing with broken bones. I am not a great fan of Lorenzo but he has gone up in my estimation over the last couple of weeks

Completely agree on what you say,, Rossi rides on the limit only if he feels he is safe, he is not like Stoner who will risk injuries for points. Injury at times might cost you few races which are full 25 points at loss.

According to Rossi that ducati never deserves to be taken to the limits,, If Rossi had tried for more podiums he would have got more but along with more number of DNF'S.
