Dani Pedrosa flown to hospital for medical checks - just one day after nearest MotoGP title rival Jorge Lorenzo was forced to withdraw from the German GP.

Whatever happens to his collarbone, he's fortunate that he didn't break his neck. He landed as much on his head as on his shoulder. And yes @pcxmac that was one of the worst highsides I've seen at such a slow speed. He's very fortunate he wasn't going full out.

what the hell was Dani doing??this is his last chance to become a World Champion...and he broke his collarbone??meh...well then...we'll have a rookie as a World Champion this year...

If Dani didn't break his collar bone, hes probably got the toughest bones in the top class. You could not have even tried to body slam someone as hard has he came down on his shoulder.
