This is good for the championship and Rossi should make hey of the fact that he is only up against a couple of Rookies, Sat rider and the ducati are what he made them .

If this situation can't turn into a winning streak then why bother turning up.

Amazing, people here come across like he said he was going to win the c-ship. What he said is before he thought it was impossible, and now the situation suddenly changed and it is not so impossible. 1 or 2 races and things can completely change for good or bad.
That being said, the most dangerous weapon in MotoGP has been given back to Rossi in the form of confidence in the front end of his racing motorcycle. He can now use that weapon without having to get a great start and run away. A decent start is all that is needed and let the leaders wear themselves and their tires out, And the consummate follower will be there ready to attack the slightest flaw. If people don't think that Lorenzo and Pedrosa don't have that on their mind, well they have another think coming. That is why they push so hard for a pole position, They know that if they don't run away, they are in for a battle royale, and we know who usually gets the fuzzy end of the lollypop when they have a battle with Rossi.

He just stated the obvious. Which is "rossi gains major confidence at the same time his rivals get injured. This many points did seen insurmountable so long as dani and Jorge are on their game but now they aren't so he is seeing a slight opportunity to pull back points
