Yes, the laps are shorter, but there are more of them, so race distance is still race distance.

I agree that this would've been 8th had Jorge and Dani been there, but he's learning and progressing steadily rather than over riding and crashing without really understanding. Give him time.

Lets be fair now, its taken cal in his third year to become very competitive at every track, this is smith coming from a pile of rubbish tech 3 bike in the moto 2, granted he is no marc marquez but he will be fast given the time
To wrongly accuse a rookie of been bad is wrong,
He is a very clever rider and always preserves tyres for later in the races....

all the fans go on about how he beat his team mates in moto2 now look what Cal is doing to him and he may loose his seat ????Smith needs to go to bsb and let Cal and Pol fight for podiums and hopefully a few wins.........

GO CAL !!!!!!

6th may look an inpressive result at a quick glance, but in reality, he finished on the last among Hondas and Yamahas. Nothing impressive. Brad's supporters have been conveniently and repeatedly forgetting that there're fewer competitive prototypes this season. This is what he was required from the opening round at Quatar, anyway. He spent almost half the season on a MotoGP bike having been repeatedly claiming that he needs some time to accumulate his experience, and this is what he has achieved. This is his "Optimum Procurement"

I like Brad , he's a hard worker , look what he dd on the pants Tech3 moto bike .
IMO Brad should feel a tad disappointed , he has raced GP circuits all his career .. CAL on the other hand hasn't wasn't ths just his third trip here .. ?
I hope that Brad gets some better results soon as I can see Yamaha / Tech 3 not renewing his contract .

Brad has a bad wrist and finger but to be fair to him he said in his pre race interview no excuses, he must start performing. He is improving and he kept it on the black stuff all weekend so credit to him.

ok i know he isnt setting the world alight like marquez is but come on lets give him a bit of credit, people forget what cructhlow was like in his first year, they were slating him then saying he wasnt good enough blah blah blah and now look

to be fair to brad he is getting conisistent top 10's and beating dovi and hayden 2 factory ducatis at the weekend (ok they are pony bikes) is still a good result. i think people should judge him more on what he does next year than this!

You need to put Bradley's result into context with Bradl who is (supposedly) on a Factory Honda & was just over 10 seconds behind him & Stefan has had a year longer to get used to MotoGP & crossreferance Bradleys results with Cals from 2011 & Bradley is overall doing a better job than Cal in his first year.
Time & contracts will no doubt play out as the year goes on but the Tech 3 team are working well together, a bit more factory support for Cal & why would you want to change the riders for 2014?
