The top 5 all have 1 no-score. Rossi also had a poor score in the wet, so it could have been even closer at the top.

Marquez is very consistent and learning fast. He is also not crashing in every race as some predicted.
Jorge is finding that his 250cc riding style is not a sure fire thing any more.
Dani, still fast, still inconsistent.
Cal, riding on the edge all the time but it seems to be working for him.
Rossi, who knows? Might get the Yam how he wants it, depends on the bosses, he needs a very different bike setup to Cal and Jorge.

One thing is sure. Dani needs to ride at Laguna to get the points. He's probably guaranteed a top 5 finish at least.

#Codger Yes and I do Value Rossi, and I do appreciate his new humbleness due to his newly found knowledge that life outside a perfect bike do exist:)

Hi
#OZfish don't you think that the best rider in the world should have sorted this already:) And the Honda was sorted for CS and Danni and MM still can ride fast on it even though it's not 'dialed in for him:) Excuses:)
Cheers Claes

There's not 5 in the frame. There are 2. Honda have all the ace cards & Dorna in their pocket. Watch as the 5-engine rule plays to their budget & engineering resources & HRC romp away in the latter half of the season.

Look. Who has the best engine in MotoGP, where there is no rev limit, but an engine AND a fuel limit? Honda.

Who has the best engine in Moto3? KTM. Honda are getting spanked.

Guess which (MotoGP or Moto3) is getting a lower rev-limit introduced (hint - it isn't MotoGP).

You tell me - is Grand Prix motorcycle racing run by Dorna, or by Honda? and is it fair competition or a con-job?

Stop arguing about which racer is going to do what - cos THAT depends on what they are permitted to have and do. You're wasting your time.

Wait till Dorna get their teeth into WSBK too. The engine limits and all the stuff that give all the advantages to Honda in MotoGP will be introduced to WSBK.

This will force other Mfrs to reduce the power on their engines to make them last. Honda meanwhile will be optimising their MotoGP electronics on the 'Blade.

Wanna take any bets that Honda (who've been spanked in WSBK for years now) are THE marque to be riding in WSBK before long?

Something stinks in International Motorcycle racing. Dorna have to be THE worst possible custodians of racing as they are party to the sport being ruined, violated and corrupted IMO.

Its long past time that fans of sport woke up and realised that they are being HAD - we SHOULD be outraged at whats going on. Its disgusting.

The season has shown 3 leaders plus 2 wildcards in Rossi and Cal.

If Rossi could take to he M1 like Stoner and Mark took to the Honda then we would have a real race to he championship, regardless it's still a good show,

As a side note, the more I watch young Mark, the more I see Casey in him, rides to win at all cost

Best stats for me are that Marquez has many more podiums than the others (should be 8/8 really) - and despite only having 3, Rossi is still within touching distance - really hope the group stays together and we have a great championship. Also love Marquez's attitude that he prefers close battling races - reminds me of a certain VR!
