Please m8.. Do you know why Nicky is not riding one HRC? Because Honda dont need to have 2 babys in one team, Pedrosa is enaught and mostly because of Repsol sponsor i can bet on that, Hayden was with Honda since 2003, was one Lucky Champion in 2006 but was Champion thats why Honda keep him for 2007, what you expect for one Champion? well at least i expect he would be chanlleging the front riders i was wrong he finish 8 place lossing to riders that is better to not talck about, but 2007 was one especial year so Honda give him another chance for 2008, he finish 6 beahind Dovi riding one satelite Honda maybe with facotry support but was is Roockie sesson, i mean he had is chances 5 years riding for Honda, is fast but not faster then Pedrosa and both suffer the same problems of consistency over 1 year racing!! 4sure hayden improve a bit i think he had improve i mean he had a lot of years riding this bikes now.. But even riding the Ducati for long time he could chanllenge Rossi

chanllenge Rossi and Dovi yes but he end up lossing to Rossi on Rossi 1 year and 2 year and now he will loss to Dovi.. WHY??? i think Hayden can be fast and can Win but he never prove to be that speacial rider that Top guys allways prove.. If people have real talente that speacial talente manufacters will whant to keep that rider, if one rider do a great job on one satelite Team he can have one chance of go to one factory Team but Hayden never try other option he was there at Ducati allways with the hope of find somethingh good, saddly end up beeing a waste of time and NOW if he really is a better rider then before now who will whant Nicky with so many riders on the market to choose? i mean in terms of factorys for 2014 will be impossible, only Suzuki in 2015, and if Nicky whant to keep racing on Motogp i think he will have to risk on this new CRT Teams for 2014 that will have better engines or Honda bikes ETC, i think it will be the only way for him to prove that is better now and ma

i think it will be the only way for him to prove that is better now and maybe beat some Ducatis..ahaha I mean it would be more cool to find a deal with one CRT Team that will be more faster for 2014 then go to WSBK.. i think its not over yet for Hayden if he whants to keep racing at motogp

@Talent
'Outpaced' - 2007-2010
The retired one - 23 firsts, 8 seconds, 11 thirds
Hayden - 1 second, 6 thirds

Comprehensively outpaced and surely, if he had pace, his race results should have been substantially better. Its not even true that the bike improved over the same period it got worse by a long way and still isn't fixed.
At least the pain has been relieved by 6 years of Ducati pay checks though.

@ mrfill I credited 'ther retired one' with outpacing Nicky.

However, that rider outpaced everyone with that bike, and was rather tasty on a Honda as well.

My point was rather that NH wasn't rubbish, as no-one else on that Ducati has been able to do significantly better than Hayden. When 'no-one else' includes Valentino then most would agree that you can't be too shabby if you're running close on the same kit.

Its fair to suggest that NH would be getting much better results if he was on Vale's Yamaha too. After all, using VR and AD as a benchmark, NH is pretty much on the pace. But he hasn't the market value of a VR, there's nowhere near enough parity in the MotoGp field, so he hasn't a hope in hell.

WSBK with Ducati is a demotion and a slap on the face for Hayden , this is no upgrade to go from one slow understeering pig to an even slower understeering pig, he deserves better, hoping LCR , Gressini , Tech 3 or Aspar consider him for a gig, sure Ducati needs him for marketing reasons, but they are not intelligent enough to keep him or sort the bike out like they should.

I am a big Ducati fan and own a 1098. Hayden is one of the reasons why I cheer for Ducati. I'd really love to see a 2-year deal with either a Honda or Yamaha just so that we can gauge Hayden's ability to continue riding at the front. He has significant abilities to possibly win or at least run in the top 4. Gresini Honda seems to be unhappy with Bautista and I'm hearing chatter about Hayden landing a spot there. But even if that's not the case, MotoGP and Dorna would be a fool not to have a top and likeable American in the series. Plenty of American fans would not turn out and Dorna would lose money in the US. However, if a good ride is offered to Hayden and presumably by either Kawasaki and BMW with the chance of stepping up to MotoGP in 1-2 years time, that would not be a bad thing. Besides, winning a championship in WSBK almost always guarantees to turn heads in MotoGP a la circa Spies, Bayliss, and Edwards.

Nicky has given his all on that bike for years.His results have been pretty much par for the course when you look at the others who have tried and failed too.Forget Casey,he was in a league of 1 when it came to the Ducati.
I feel Nicky has been hard done by by some comentators here.The guy won a world title in the premier class so he isnt what you would call a slug!
He has done no worse than most.
I too would like to see what he could do with a 2013 factory Honda or Yamaha.My guess is he would be pretty sharp.
