As a fan of Nicky Hayden, I would like to see him take on the WSBK.
Nicky is not getting any younger and hasn´t been setting the world on fire in Motogp in the last years. So it is highly unlikely that he will get a change on "better" factory bike then what he has now.
Nicky has been as a employee very professional with Ducati and has never talk down is employees and has been a good rider regarding marketing , specially in the USA, and also very willing to test and but in the hours on the bike. So all in all he has been a good rider for Ducati and like others have said not been any worse then some higher profile teammates other then Casey. But I have the feeling that now is the time to end this chapter in his career. I would even think that his his desire to become the triple-crown champions could be far greater than do stay mid-pack any longer in Motogp. I wrote a longer original comment but it got shortened and I can´t find the rest of it, I don´t got any warning that it was to long and I would need make it shorter. I am not very happy with that feature on your comment section. thank you

einar....totally agree with you on both issues.

I think Crash is going down the Ducati route!! I always try to give new things a chance before moaning, but since the Crash revamp I'm afraid its gone sadly downhill. I've also noticed that they dont get anywhere near the quantity of responses they used to get.

And why, oh why, is the site so bloody slow now? Stupid unasked for videos with soundtracks jumping in are another pain, and the page never returns to where you were.

GRRRR....."dat's all I can stands, I can't stands no more!"

re: "With 3 races now in the US that seems rather tenuous to me."

no prob, dorna will just reduce the number of races in the U.S. you don't really think there are going to be 3 rounds for any more than a year or two do you...?
