It seems cal lost his highly useful qualification weapon...
Starting from the pole position in the very first corner he loses 3 or 4 positions...this time if really makes a poor start...cal has to forget podium on todays race....Injured jlo looks on a good pace than him....Where is your magic lap this time Bro?? Come on give a good start cal....Yes yamaha

@Celeste

Cal is right to blame the tyre as he wasn't the only guy to have the bike wipe out from under them at a slower speed.
As for a tech fault you have work with what you got so a 5th is not bad at all.

Looks like it will be a good race for today!

Don't worry Cal your tires wont last race distance. Germany vs Spain might be on the order for this race. But to be honest, if Marc doesnt win by at least 10 seconds hes not trying, only the satellite bikes seem up to par with Marc, kind of a mediocre turn out for Laguna honestly.

re: "The Englishman's problems began with a 'strange' fall on an out-lap during final practice"

I now suspect his crash was a lot like espargaro's. he was barely pushing and front just folded. he went down faster than a 2 dollar wh#re...?
