Clearly a Honda track this year. Rossi went as well as he could, and as well as expected.
Lorenzo and Pedrosa gutted out excellent point scoring finishes.
And Marquez rode the race of a grizzled veteran, controlling his pace and attacking in a calculated manner.
His win in this manner may very well seal the championship.

gottdamn, marcus HAS watched all the highlight films to pull that move thru "the screw". sonofab#tch...!

danny boy...? i'm afraid you've been officially (and squarely) placed under the bus. courageous ride, but we've hit summer break and you're 16 pts adrift. team orders time. the "driver" may even be shifting into reverse to repeatedly rock the tandems back and forth over top of you. :( oh well you tried. take solace, #2 at repsol is better than #1 a lot of other places.

I hear what you are saying I like many expected him to dominate this season not run happy go lucky.

Think about it, Stoner never rode the Honda and on it in his 1st year, MM never rode the Honda but he's on his way to win WC, Rossi it seems to not settle on the bike even though he s known as the god of bike set up.

Think I might be seeing the trees through the woods

This greatly sums up Rossi's performance this weekend.
You'd have been disappointed if it were '08-'09, but him him no longer his best self, he had a very good race and a third podium in a row.

So many comments about Rossi...and that he's not as good as he was... His race time was 0.882 seconds faster in 2008 than 2013. That's 27 thousandths of a second per lap, which is hardly anything. He was pushing to the limit in 08, while he is less prepared to take a risk now, even though his speed is the same.

There's no doubt that Rossi is the same rider that he always was, but there are more riders that are simply faster than him now.

Props to Marquez. That was a great ride.

"Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained?" The riders should be throwing spears at some of you for the insulting comments you make. They risk life and limb to put a bit of excitement into your dull couch potato lives, which you live by proxy, and all you fluoride-ridden, brain-dead adolescents can do is criticize them for not meeting your expectations. Go post your comments in the Daily Mail where they will be appreciated.
