Rossi was on the inside of the left hander yet you are saying it was MM that prevented him tipping it in further to stop him running off the outside of the track.
Someone on the outside of you DOESN'T prevent you from leaning over further to tighten your line.
In the accompanying photo, MM is a bike and a half ahead, yet Rossi is still turning left soon to have both wheels off track because he let off the brake to push MM wide.
A1 is absolutely correct.
What you are saying isn't physically possible.
No harm, no foul, but still a questionable tactic from VR.

I thought that Rossi has pushed Marquez over and Marquez would then have been forced to cut the corner. The point is that Rossi did not touch Marquez and Marquez ran wide and Rossi stood up just in Case Marquez crashed... in principle marquez should have been penalised for taking a short cut and gaining advantage??? not that it would have helped Rossi much but certainly Bradl would have won. if you vote against please explain why...

@aussieNSW, buddy I'm not bagging Stoner. You came onto a thread about Rossi and started saying that he couldn't ride the duc. All I said was that Rossi had already spent a lot of time on other bikes before he went to duc and couldnt adapt and that he'd already won 9 titles by then.
The only reason I didn't follow Stoner is because I already followed Rossi for years and am not a turn coat. Why come onto a Rossi Thread and stir up old stuff about Stoner, He's retired.

@ Guna4699.......interesting point about Rossi braking early to counteract the straight line speed of the Ducati to nullify Casey's advantage in 2008.
Casey has put himself on record saying that he used this tactic to win the 2007 Championship. Only the reverse, nullifying the opponents' cornering capability to use his own speed advantage.
Is that what is called 'Karma'?

@Guna4699
So the Ducati was useless after 08 well how come Stoner won and podiumed on a regular basis and most likely would have done many more if it had not been for illness and injuries.
Then you mention age well how come Joey Dunlop was winning races aged 48 so much for too old theory.
Only three racers ever won a GP on a Ducati and two of them would have been as old if not older than Rossi.

AussieNSW

But you are allways ready to talck BAD about Rossi, is because is Italian and you dont like te? You have to admited AussieNSW Stoner was a child that dont even new what he really whanted, i can tell you that he allready must be bored with V8 supecars!! Anyway we dont loss nothingh Stoner loss to Lorenzo in 2012, and now the rider that Rule Honda is one Roockie that unlike Stoner will not arrive at Indy beahind is Team m8 Pedrosa, and is one Roockie, he is not 2011 World Champion that people say is so good that he must be from other galaxy.. We have admite is talente to extract a bit more of Ducati when the bike still have somethingh to offer was really good but in one Honda Stoner was just one more Top rider like Pedrosa and Lorenzo, he stands out for is bravery riding hard but that is also is weack point, he risk without thinking and thats not PRO racing, Marquez would make Stoner loock like a roockie this year
