he wouldn't win on the duc now cos its poop, when he won the WC on it it was a good bike but it turned to crap underneath him season on season hence why he left.
Great rider sure (terrible sportsman), but dunno why people think he is the answer to ducati's problems.

CS will do the private tests and then he will wildcard a race, i think when he watches at home this dramatic season he misses the racing no matter what he says!
This year first 8 riders are in the 1 sec gap we had four winners he must be thinking i could be the 5 :) and honda bikes are doing great! come on CS enter a race and lets see what happens, if he can take on MM on the same bike! i am not MM fan but would like to see what happen in a dog fight MM vs CS on the same bike!! if the daddy can teach the boy some new tricks!!!! maybe how to take CS corner at PI casey style

Lets see him win on Ducati again. I bet he wont do it though. LOL
Fools.

Why would he want to?
He already has 23 wins on it.
How many have the other riders who have ridden it achieved?

@hoppy, I think he should so he can resurrect Ducati. Its sad to see such a marque Motorcycle co. go down so far the paddock. Fan or not. I hate seeing top teams get set back. But the point is CS is a moaner and he can learn from MM and of course learn from VR. Smile Casey. You have a baby now that needs funds for college. Hop on the Duck (Duke). Since that was his only icon win for his time. Rossi has plenty to look back too. 9X's Champ! VR 4 ever.
Dont get me wrong now...He is a great rider, but leave the moaning with your wife in bed.

Fools.
You seem to be contradicting yourself.First you say you never want to see Casey on track again, then you say he SHOULD come back to resurrect Ducati.
I can just imagine the look on certain peoples faces if he did go back to Ducati. It would be a look of terror!

As for his being short of funds, yeah right!
He probably has more loose change in his pockets than we will ever earn!

Stoner has said he will not race V8's next year, he wants a break (Again) He never realized how much of his time would be taken up this year with the cars as he only enlisted in the Dunlop series which was only a hand full of races a year, but promotional appearances have been to him, hectic.
So from what I can gather, next year, he won't be driving, or riding... But, we've heard these things from Stoner before, so, who knows... Perhaps he'll just be a test rider next year, and that might be all he'd ever wanted.
On MotoGP site, they say he will NOT race as a wild card this year in any races.

There are still strange people who claim Stoner didn't like to race simply because he correctly questioned the safety of the accidental, and please remember it was not a planned move, pass at the Cork Screw in 2008. You totally forget the Catalunya race of 2007 where three of them battled it out till the end with many passes and Stoner winning by 0.069 of a second. Or the wet/dry race a Mugello a fortnight before where he battled with three or four riders before taking the lead and winning by a second. He loved to race but there were only a few times others were fast enough to keep up.
