@codger
The question is why?been there done that and won a championship,all I can say honda must have plenty of money if he turned down 16 mil last year they must have offered him plenty just to check out their new bike,but it just goes to show how highly honda regard his input.I wish I could get money that easy,nobody has offered me any money to come out of retirement to fly planes again to give feedback they were probably glad to get rid of me ha ha

I would love for him to come back. Then we could have 4 great riders on the best bikes and see what happens. Him and Rossi have never faced each other both on equal bikes. Plus with Marc there he will be more pressured than with Danny.

you can guarantee he will give the ultimate feedback for the production racer , its the data he produces by pushing the bike over its limits that give the engineers all they need to understand the bikes full potential and therefore go beyond .
i see those production bikes becoming popular after this , there could be a lot in all this for stoner because if the grid can fill up with highly competitive bikes he just may be tempted to come back.

Stoner should stay retired,

if he comes back Marquez is going to want to race him in precisely the way Stoner didnt like and consistently complained about.

Marquez wont care that he was last seasons champion or people think he was awesome ....Marquez will be out to beat him anyway he can......and this is typical Marquez..look at his MOTO2 races

the last few years in MOTOGP was dumbed down by precious riders who wanted the winner decided in qualifying followed by a procession...not a race

not just Stoner, Lorenzo was guilty of it so was Pedrosa, but now Stoner has left for pastures new, the racing is returning.

the proof was in lagunas race .... Stoner complained about that move ...Rossi Laughed!

and besides .....

when Marquez beats stoner the illusion of greatness will be shattered for ever

im not denying Stoner pace...but Marquez WILL beat him.

on the otherhad though...itll be awesome to watch ..

sign Stoner up lol
