Really? Four separate tests in Japan is a significant investment in time and money on Honda's and Casey's part. Investments of this sort are strategic, and you can be certain the next step will be racing on a limited or full time basis. Who goes where? Don't know, but Casey and Marquez would be on Hondas. Suzuki must love this news as it certainly means a big name rider might be looking for a ride once the game of musical chairs is complete.

Hi
The difference with Casey and the South Euro is that the latter are drama people, Casey only ride super hard, and do not really care about the others, he is an Ozzie and they do not fluff around with mind games they just take a cup of cement and harden up:) Go Hard or Go home and thats what I loved about Casey and now MM:)

I think Honda knows just how good Casey is, I suspect either:
1. Honda values Casey's input as for the development of the knew bikes
2. The development riders have gotten the new bikes to the point where they are happy and want to see if Casey can hop on it and go as fast as ever
3. Honda wants to gear up Casey for a return to full time racing next year
Either way Nakamoto did say he would have full factory spec bike for Stoner if he decided to give GP another shot.

Hi
It will also see the true potential of the Satellite Bikes from Honda and how fast they can go with a proper rider, would be fun to see CS try a top level CRT just to see how fast they really can go:)

If Stoner did come would Casey get his old crew back the ones who are working with Marquez does HRC like Marquez enough not to give Casey his old crew back or would Marquez do as well with a different crew. I feel that Marquez has had an advantage in terms of setup and that may have been why he has gelled with the bike so easily other riders haven't necessarily had that advantage before other than Rossi having Burgess from day one at Repsol.

Christ, not him again, moaning and sniping at anyone who finishes in front of him.
He's had his time, and moved on. Some say Vale should have done the same, but unfortunayely for some, Vale has still got his game face on.
Casey was (like Marc) a natural talent that could ride anything fast. But unlike most he moans about everything. Even in the LCR days he was blaming Michelin tyres. He should have learned from Vale and learned how to get things changed by asking and not telling

So 25 (24/7/13) disagree with the comment, which bit?

@V4Poweeeer - I think Marquez is being largely touted as the "future star of Moto GP", so they'd stick with him, but Casey would definitely be a VIP.

I think they should do a DNA test on Marquez just in case he is the result of an experiment and is some sort of laboratory child of Rossis and Stoners. He combines their best traits into a great package
