You guys (women) are just upset that you can't ride the M1 or any other bike as fast or as slow as Brad..

Give it up..

We'll see quick enough where Pol and Redding fit in and it won't be close to 93s season, not close at all...

@ Noriben

Totally Agree. It is well and good for people to support Bradley Smith and there is no doubt the kid is an excellent rider.
The fact is he needs to step up. He consistently scrapes into the last qualy and starts on row 3 or 4 for the race. His normal form is to drop back to 10 by lap 5 and then come on strong at the end of the race.
He needs to be up front. The M1 he has under him is not the problem. He is unable IMAO to reel off numerous fast laps AT the front of the race.
FFS Bradfans drop off the comparison with CC. Bradders needs to finish a MINIMUM of 8 in 2013 or he should pi$$ off and give someone else a go.

@Codger
It's nothing to do with Marquez, everyone knows he's a rare exeption. If one say Smith has been doing well, one must say Iannone has been doing an extraordinary job in his rookie year because he's competing with Smith for the 10th position on a much lesser bike in the championship. It's abot time people realize there are reduced number of prototypes on the current MotoGP field, furthermore, as Spies has long been sidelined for injury, you can say that this year we have only ELEVEN of them!!!. The reality is that Smith is battling for the LAST position in the championship with Iannone on a much better bike. Some like to draw an analogy between Cal's and Smith's first year performance, but Smith's performane this year is only equivalant to 16th or 17th n Cal's first year, which must have been only a few points or point NULL at this time around summer break. What would you have said if a rider on a M1 has had yet to earn a point at this stage of the year?

I wonder if Herve will snap up an M1 engine or a a similar deal like forward racing with a full privateer bike cause I could see Yamaha pushing for Pol and Herve being in a bind with Smith.
No problem with the way Bradders is riding its just the current state of the competition if there were 20 plus prototypes eigth would be impressive but with only 12 prototypes and four being Ducatis means placing in eigth position is that you are the worst rider on a Honda or Yamaha.
Don't hate the player hate the game cause he's not doing a bad job it's just theres about six plus moto2 riders who are more competitive than Smith and could probably be up there with Cal.

Bradl finished 8th in his rookie year. I guess that must be Smith's goal for this season. For that he will have to continue doing what he did in Sachsenring, to beat Espargaro and all the Ducatis and hope for no more mechanicals, which are few and far between with Tech3.

I think Smith must be very happy with what he has. In terms of engine and chassis. It is, with all respect a too good package for his abilities. Next Year one can only pray yamaha will tell HP to assign Cal with another rider. Smith is still young. If he is really as good as a lot of you think he is, he could win any world championship or be a regular rostrum finisher. And then come back to motogp
