Personally, I would LOVE for Hayden to get a premier ride - be in Yamaha or Honda. Surly NO factory seat (wonder why, eh??? - haha) - but a good SAT bike team with "factory spec" bike. That would be GREAT and Hayden fanaticos would have accept - once again - there can be no exuses !!

However, factories may be weary of doing this for fear that if Hayden were to do poorly (ie mid pack), then they would fair poorly in the eyes of the legion of (critcal) american Hayden fans and thus brand bashing may ensue... such as: ""X factory is farking over Hayden - they promised a "factory" bike/support" and bla bla bla... That the bike is built for Pedrosa, for marquez, for Rossi, for Jlo, for the 12 elves and bla bla bla... that is a road that "may" put off Marketing guys in the US...

While not a Hayden fan it would make PR sense to keep NH in sat team/private team with Duc assistance or better yet on WSB Duc team where they have a chance of being more competitive. Ducati at their current level should leave Motogp and concentrate at WSB and National level series.

The main problem is that Nicky signed for RACING on a DUCATI. Since November 2010 his has been STRUGGLING on a VFR800 clone. So there is a contract not achieved. Give him a Panigale in WSBK and let him RACE!!!

Put Hayden on Bradl's ride and he may start winning races -- or at least stay with the Euros. At this point, the way Ducati has treated him, I think his best bet to say in GP is to take a ride that IS competitive -- and only Honda and Yamaha have those.,

Nicky is still one of the best out there! This season especially early his wrist was really bad! Of course he make no excuses and never whined about the bike! Dovi blamed the bike for everything publicly like vale but that is their way! Nicky remembers who signs his check! The bike is a turd! Since they sacked him I cancelled my pangale s order! Duc made a mistake on how tactless they handled it! Put nick on a factory yam or Honda he will be ringing the podium again on a regular basis!

@ GPBrainTrust

LMAO! Canceled your order on the Panigale because of Hayden? Lamest reason ever. There are plenty of reasons to cancel that Panigale order (..and opt for the BMW for example), but Hayden isn't one of them.

GPBrainTrust1 you are another funny guy ! LMAO !! As i said before - you can put Hayden on a factory Yamaha or Honda and he aint gonna win. At the VERY best, he may do a podium here and there via (mostly) attrition - if there is bad weather. A little bit better than finishing 8-9th in the WC? I am certain of that. Somewhere between 5th and 6th at best.

Ducati had a LOT of patience and should have not renewed his option two years ago - but apparently did so due to merican "brains" like yourself. Since the bike according to "brains" like yourself - is horse manure, then Hayden should have quit Ducati when Stoner did and ride off to another factory team -since he is so darn good!

YET wernt Haydifans complaining that the Honda was chit, made for pedrosa??
