"Without checking, I'd say Nori is probably over 40, and Yukio not much younger, so let's hear it for ALL of this "seniors" Team." - Tetley.
I have checked and I can correct myself - Yukio was born in 1974 and Nori was born in 1975.
It confirms what I have always thought - when a rider becomes of an age which moves him away from circuit racing, then Endurance Racing can be a viable option for lengthening his career.

Schwantz put himself on the line plenty during his career, and I'm glad he's got through this unscathed.
The reason old guys don't race are the physical demands, training requirements and that they don't bounce or heal as well as younger people.
I've no wish to see the legends of yesteryear in BSB or similar. It'd quickly go horribly wrong,
