Good luck to Cal. Hope the bike improves and lets him show his talent, BUT, if it doesn't happen (and everything is pointing towards it not doing so), for gawd's sake Cal... DO NOT MOAN about it, because your popularity will plummet! Everybody knows how bad that bike is right now, and if you've decided to ride it, don't moan about it when you finish 7th or lower next year in races!

But good luck anyway!

I think you are all forgetting he doesn't currently have a ride next year. So after his form this year Yamaha hastily put together a package cos they realise Cal is a good rider, after all they were the ones who went after Pol (jumping the gun as his form dipped like hell). So ask yourself this. What exactly would you do given the opportunity??
You are also forgetting he was a mate with Stoner too, so I imagine he will have had discussed this move with Casey too.

People have been preaching this "..When Audi takes over, the Ducati will......." since last year. It's pretty obvious that Audi's involvement hasn't seemed to change anything (at least ostensibly). Updates are still non-existent, etc.

Enjoy the red beast Crutchlow!

you might think its the cash , and it will have a bit factor.
but i think the major sticking point was pol , cal was probably more pissed at Yamaha desperate to give pol a factory deal , where he had to fight for scraps .... whats to say that pol was not higher in the order of things than cal at yamaha? so to that effect i dont blame him at all...in fact im pleased for the guy.
I just feel for Herve , come on Bradders youve got biggish boots to fill next year !!

wow what a bummer. He went from being a consistent podium chaser/finisher with a slight possiblilty of winning should someone fall to hopefully getting top 5 finishes. Audi has done a poor job ever since taking over with none of the ducati riders making any progress whatsoever. Actually their results have gone downhill since the start of the season. He got his wish though and made it to a factory team. Unfortunately for him its the worst one.

good for you Cal. Lets face this Ducati will not want to continue in the way they have been and will now have two equal riders in the team. also hope that they see sense and replace Spies with Hayden as he has been there week in week out producing finishes that others have not been capable of

"Finally, a bike that suits him perfectly. Loud and underdelivering, just like him."

@ myselff...

I clicked on your name and pretty much every post is a Crutchlow "hate" post. Cal should be happy, as he has achieved that status of having a "dedicated loonie hater" fan! Even Dovi doesn't have one of those on here!

Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Stoner and particularly Rossi have many, so well done for attracting the lunatic fringe!

Nice one Cal, you are reaching "Superstar" status when someone sets up a profile just to say how "crap" you are!

Go #35!
