Yamaha has always struggled against honda in corner exit acceleration,,

Since lorenzo carries high speeds than anyone else in most corners, he never really needs hard acceleration out of corners, so among the two riders lorenzo gets least affected by acceleration issues, notably lorenzo has spoke about lack of acceleration against honda only once this season and that was in Austin due to lot of sharp 1st gear corners...

While Rossi on the other hand brakes late and hard. It means Rossi will have the least speed at corner apex, so its Rossi who needs the hard acceleration so this new transmission upgrade might have a big impact in Rossi's result...

And always there is where honda have advantage than Yamaha. Like turn 11 sancsenring. It's look like very chiken manufacturer.
