Hey where is the post about Rossi being a 9 time world champion and Stoner only has two? Oh here, let me do it.
Once upon a time Rossi won 9 world championships.

This is a good thing and one would wonder why then do the Rossi fans feel the need to attack Stoner? Well it comes from the fact that, head to head, Stoner beat Rossi more than Rossi beat Stoner, and to really rub salt into the wound a lot of that occurred while Stoner was on the Ducati aka "Destroyer of Careers". Then came the ultimate humiliation when the great one jumped ship to Ducati to show them all who is really boss, but what followed is best described as a farce.

@painless. Spot on. Unfortunately people who are fans of personality get caught up in that instead of just enjoying watching the fastest guys in the world on mortorbikes do things that most people could never do. I cant even imagine doing 330kmh plus on a motorbike down a straight, or two wheel power sliding through a corner at 260 k's an hour..thats insane, but these guys do it regularly and for that we should be greatful.

Love to see Casey back to MotoGp (make the competition more alive & exciting). Either back to Honda or Ducati, I don't care, as long as he is back to MotoGp.
A matter of fact, he was the only guy could conquer the Ducati beast and bring it to many victories.
He is the real deal, raw talent and down to earth kind of guy. Come on Aussie.... back to MotoGp. Love u

It looks like he used the hard compound tyres. You can see the the respect of hrc bosses to cs, when stoner telling his feedback to his engineers then you can see the focus of everyone especially the president and vice president of hrc. #Respect.

Sorry Guna, it was your hero Rossi himself who said that he couldnt tell how fast the Ducati was because Casey wasnt riding it hard enough. So what happened when he got on it? He started moaning about how the bike was no good (despite Casey getting second in the race the day before) and he rode around in 7th or worse for most of his time on it. Lets face it, none of this Stoner v Rossi stuff would of started if Rossi hadnt first criticised Casey after winning the title on the Ducati. Rossi said it was the bike because he couldnt handle being beaten by the young Aussie. Problem is, if the bike was so good in 07/08 and the rest, why were Casey's teammates so far behind in the races and the championship? Rossi mouthed off and then had to eat humble pie when he realised what Casey had done on that bike. At least he had the courage to do so. It might help for some of his fans to do the same but i cant see it happening anytime soon.
In the end none of it matters anymore, because Casey is no

The Stats don't suport your argument. You failed to recognise the blinding success of Hayden, Dovi, Kallio, Elilis Melandri, and of course Rossi. In addition a number of forementioned were young when they rode for Ducati

The only outlier in this population is Casey Stoner.

Its still god to watsch CS on the bike.
Copare CS to MM? Differrent styles - Casey natural body position, MM learnd and with non natural move.
Casey is fast. but seems like he is in space, geometric lines...
I know, why people say 93 godd replacement etc. Cause MM is a little clown, 20% of Rossi mayby, but still clown and he will grow to big clon in the future. I bet, Honda want a rider with more passion and gentelman and to be respected by other riders - not only from a clown.

@ Mintox
Everybody has their own negative side that stirs anger and controversy,, but you can't make that your major point,, bad side of Rossi is bad mouthing at times... Accepted that Rossi didn't respect stoner for what he did but that is it nothing more...

My point is stoner is not the only one who is capable of winning in ducati,, anybody could have won with ducati in 2007,, anybody means those who were really in contention for title...

And about the teammate you say,, when did stoner had a teammate who deserves to be in league of champs... Loris had a great carrier but we know how ordinary he became post 2000. Nicky was never in the league of champs, just 3 wins in entire motogp carrier, 2 of those in his home circuit laguna were he had prior experience while was in American racing,, all 3 came with honda. 2006 was more about how Rossi lost the title and not about how nicky won that,, casey always had a midpack teammate except dani who is again the guy with worst luck....
