It was not a case of Rossi could not bring it to the limit it was a case that couldn't then wouldn't, his term at Ducati and comments he made have shown just how a little a man he can be, it was a very disappointing two years and not just on the race track

The only thing dissapointing is the comments above, For one rider that was not trying Rossi put the Ducati in 6 place on the Champ.. Lets see what Dovi one rider that impress bad mouths in 2012 will do with Ducati.. What Rossi will say? is the only true if Ducati dont improve the red Pig thers nothingh that Cal will do.. Cal i remember the rider that loss to Dovi on Dovi 1 year with Tech 3.. You guys have to be honest Rossi did what was possible for him to do..

Cal is at that stage of his life in which he needs to secure his retirement as a motorcycle rider therefore decided to go for the Gs and there is nothing wrong with that, he knows he will be at the same level as Dovi six to eight place in the order , you all saw the direct comparison when they both rode at Tech 3 as for Rossi he tried to change the culture of the team but somethings never change.

And a lot idiots seem to think the 2007 is the same bike Rossi had and will no doubt be dumb enough to think the bike Cal will jump is the same bike Rossi had.

These bikes near enough change race by race !!!

The Ducati is like an old italian womans cooking. While it can be nice and look good, it doesn't always taste great. What everyone has done so far is tell her to change her recipe.

Stoner was the only one that brought his own salt and made the most of what he was given.

I think there is a fable about a tortoise and a hare? Also, I am not sure why he would be embarrased? I know who's stats I would like on my CV.

. . . Now I get it, its because of his total career stats that he may be embarrassed. Back into context though, I think Dovi would kill for a couple of podiums right now dont you?

Redding has ridden the Ducati. He says that "the bike is an animal". He goes on to say that Cal will not tame it, and that it needs Ducati to tame it.
Rossi says the same thing.
I'm guessing that Cal will very quickly get up to Dovi's pace but get thrown off trying to go any quicker. Cal is a confidence rider and we all know what riding the Ducati does to a riders confidence.
