I think you'll find that there are always battles mid field, it's not that special. Simply because that's where the majority of bikes are. It's not hard to understand this concept.

The only reason it's highlighted now is that rossi is in the midfield.

Anyway, lets see what the next few races have in store.

shanefireblade says..

" I'm a huge Stoner fan, but since I don't follow anyone now.."

Hahaha..

I think Casey got out just at the right time.

Not sure he'd have been able to take being owned by MM after Dani last year?

Well done to 'Sniffer' Smith.
Nice to see Bautista racing hard & fair.

Some good battles spoiled by the TV director.

Talking TV..

I thought it was hilarious on Eurosport..
Ryder, who hadn't spotted Rossi was closing fast on Bradl and the battle for 4th, launched into his usual, 'Rossi's having a disappointing weekend..lucky to salvage 6th'

A couple of laps later Val had passed the German, joining Cal & Alvaro and Ryder squeaked excitedly..
'He's right on their tails now..'

Toby Moody said.."But I thought he was having a bad weekend two laps ago?'

Splutter. Choke. B-B-B-B..Silence.

@Dave
Please, you dumped more than any other on this site when it came to Casey Stoner and now that your boy continues his three year period of poor results you have more excuses than a kid caught with his hand in a cookie jar.

Last year you called for Spies head on a platter
The year before Ducati was at fault and Stoner couldn't ride it was the bike like in 2007

Time to stop the excuses and accept Rossi is not the Rossi of old, he is a good rider, riding beyond his time.

As a noted legend of the sport once Saudi, his ambition has out weighted his talent.

Lets just enjoy him trying without all the excuses, it's still fun.

Rossi is only a few months back on the m1 which was set for JL for the last few years so he has to get it to the way he wants it and he is not the number one rider at yamaha anymore so i think he is doing a good job he should be up there next year winning races, good race to p4 at indy

marc is the new rossi and he is beating dani on the same bike in his frist year with honda in the top class.

@kimi07
I think Marc is Marc, not a Rossi clone, heck he sent even ride like him, his style is more Stoner if anything and he uses Stoners data but anyway...

Quick question, why is it the GOAT needs time yet the guy leading the champion is a rookie who had no time on the bike and just wants to win, in there lays the difference.

But keep the excuses coming and jump on the new Rossi band wagon as it makes it easier to del with.

Not that I can talk, I'm an Edwards fan an will continue until he leaves and make no excuses for poor performance like all the Rossi fanboys do.
