4 wins in a row for marquez and hasn't yet finished a race off the podium all in his 1st year. truly impressive. Once lorenzo and pedrosa are back to full fitness, the season will really heat up. Although they are going to need a major setback from marquez to have a chance at the title. Right now its his title to lose.

this site is funny.

MM wins on the perfect bike because it's the bike t beat this seson

DPedrosa is so used to being close but no cigar that he'll never wn a WC in MotoGP

JL can only win when he's using Rossi's bike the moment he tried to "develop" a bike Yamaha stop being the best ride in GP corner speed my @ss Lorenzo has never and I mean never not even when he was rookie has been able to close the door on riders wanting to pass, if you can't bring it come clutch time go back to being Rossi's number 2.

VR Yamha has to give the guy everything he asks after all this is the guy that brought them up top again, and is obiously the one who can actally develop a bike,

again wh o sacrifices breaking and acceleraton for corner speed???? Lorenzo will never be able to hold or compete for a lead because he's not that good, he was just riding the master's (the doctor's) bike....

@ cmpunk.
Yep you nailed it.
He's awesome.

Just curious why you compared him to Doohan?
Doohan was nowhere near as good as Marc is in his 1st year. Even Rossi wasn't. Or are you eluding to the fact he may win 5 straight. Which also wasn't that good either. Rossi won 5 straight on 2 different makes.

No cmpunk said it all I think.

More to do with being a Honda man and the fact Doohan would ride around problems. Remember when Doohan went back to the screamer engine just to get into the others heads ? You can't tell me Marc has not done that already.

Just see a lot Mick in Marc, Marc will no doubt be better in time.

August 26, 2013 10:17 AM - oh you Doctor fan. You are more funny.

Your golden boy started to fade out? You think that he developed EVERYTHING that Yamaha has achieved?
Lorenzo using the bike Rossi developed? Can you hear yourself? Maybe you forgot that Rossi was @Ducati for 2 Years... he didn't developed the Yamaha.

Give some credit to the riders, Lorenzo is a good rider, even better than Rossi.

Coming back to the topic:

Hat off for Marc. Well done, he put in a great fight and he might set the new standards in motorcycle racing.

@ Husky.
Point taken. No one will ever take the title of sycing (spelling ?) competitors out than Mick. Sometimes I wish he wasn't that good at that because I never got to see his true personality.

Doohan was a fearsome competitor but..rode a works Honda for 6 seasons before winning a title and only after his main rivals had retired with, or were carrying, career ending injuries.

He didn't have to ride around problems at all because the NSR500 was utterly dominant and the best bike by bloody miles!
