moto2 and moto3 are usually the best races of the weekend. None of this factory/satellite/CRT/shed built nonsense, just kids on bikes desperate to win.
Its good fun spotting talent too - Vinales, and Folger in m3 both have excellent race craft and could well be in moto2 very soon. Marquez was good but didnt get anywhere on the KTM. Once on the Derbi he started winning and hasn't stopped. His adaption to the big bikes has been extraordinary, after only 11 races he's learnt an awful lot.
Having said that, I don't think he'll win at Silverstone.

Weather forecast is cool (17-18c) but dry.

@racecrafter. Lets see Marc go to another manufacturer then we'll know for sure... if he wants to prove something to the world he'll have too.
If Rossi had stayed with Honda he never would have attained such legend status.
As far as your Honda fetish.. Do you ever wonder why none of the rest of us motorcycle junkies proclaim such a single-minded passion for one brand of machine? Think about it a bit? You're showing what a newb you are to this game.

I've been watching this series since '97, and my eyes tell me that it's not the bike winning's little MM and his freakish talent and determination. Would he win a race on a sat bike? He absolutely would I guarantee it. But don't count out the other aliens, either one could win by 10 seconds at any track.....2013 aint over yet

No doubt Marc is a very gifted rider who I'm sure can win on anything and he'll need to win on something other than a Honda if he wants to prove just how good he really is.

Rossi knew after cleaning house for three years that this was the case and I guarantee Marquez will feel the same way.

err no i think your the total noob. Who says you need to go to another manufacterer to be classed a legend? are you the all encompassing bike god who made up the rules? Get a life! Doohan stayed on Honda and won 5 in a row, and hes classed a legend. Schwantz won one championship and many people think hes a legend too. I for one hope Marquez stays with Honda the rest of his life, Honda is committed to winning just as much as Marc so the pair are well suited. And dont worry, in 5 years time Marquez will most likely be in the legend status too (touchwood!)

as for manufacterer affinity, what you reckon about the harley davidson troupes eh? have you ever met a bunch of people so fixated on one type of machinery? ive never ridden a harley nor do i want to but good on them, atleast they enjoy their brand and support it wholheartedly. so yeah, get over yourself, cos you seem to have no like for Honda it doesnt mean there are PLENTY of other people in the world who adore our machines just

Marc is absolutely outstanding and there is only one thing that can stop him now, overzealouness, this combined with the immense confidence he has right now could be a problem, yet undeniably he also has the mental strength. On all counts he is the very best rider we have at the moment, if he keeps his head together as he has done in the last four races, he will leave them all in the dust.

If you ask me, Marc will be carrying his winning momentum right to the end of the season!!! Who doesn't think this phenomenal young lad is going to win the championship this year?? If there really is anybody out there, then you really need to open your eyes! I only wish Casey Stoner hadn't retired then we would see Marc wipe the floor with him as well !!!
