Only one other rider has had the full blessing and support that Marquez had upon arrival at DornaGP. He's the bloke in the photo shamelessly milking every bit of publicity from the young Spaniard that he can.
No doubt about his talent but when Marquez gets bitten, it's gonna be hard and as the reality of what he might achieve this year sets in, the pressure will be immense.

People can speculate until the cows come home. We should just focus on the facts and they are that Marc has exceeded expectations and brought excitement back to MotoGP. All I want to see is good racing and that is what we are getting.

Rossi didnt start on a Repsol Honda as the main factory honda rider. In his time riders are promoted gradually, no rookie in main factory team. How times have changed. As ive said before, i hope MM doesnt burn out in years to come. Only then will he be comparable or better than Rossi. The sport takes a toll on the mind and body over the years. All riders who are at the pointy end 2-3 seasons down the road are the true greats.

Amakusa, you're right, it wasn't a 'repsol' Honda but it was a full factory HRC effort with the majority of their most experienced technicians and engineers from the Doohan/Criville years.
It WAS their no.1 team at the time without a doubt.

This is fast becoming a joke. We watch motogp thinking we are watching the best riders on the fastest bikes in the world, then along comes a kid who has never ridden a motogp bike, and he makes them look stupid!

Motogp needs a cleanout. Over half the guys do not deserve to be there.

The only guys who can beat Marquez are not even in Motogp. Stoner, Redding, Aspargaro

Edwards, De Puniet, Barbara, Ayoama, Laverty, Staring, Pesek, Pirro would all be lucky to run top 10 in world sbk.

And Rossi is on old legs, he just doesn't have the top guys speed anymore. He should go to SBK. This is embarrassing!

If Stoner could have gotten a hold a a factory bike in his rookie year Rossi may have already seen this type of performance. After all the 07 bike Stoner won 10 races on was brand new. If Stoner had been allowed into the Factory Yamaha squad Rossi may have seen it from the other side of the garage! Fair play to Marquez though, he's extraordinary that's for sure.
