As I have already said if the kid keeps his wits about him as he has done in the last four races he will take the championship. Whilst it is entertaining for us to see him treating his bike like a rag doll and thowing it around like a little toy forever taking it to the absolute limit, I truly wonder how long he can do this for without incidents. Yet so far he has humbled his opposition, shown skills worth of an all time best, and mental strength rarely seen before.

Marc, as others have said, is a breath of fresh air.
I like the effect he has on the others. He beats Rossi, Rossi laughs and makes a joke. He beats Cal, Cal laughs and makes a joke. He beats Dani, Dani responds with his usual dignity. He beats Jorge, Jorge looks sad.
I feel for Jorge, he's in the best form of his career, never ridden better and has no answer for the hotshot.

I watched MM over the last 3 years and he is great to watch, enormous talent. He is the golden child, best bike, best team mechanics etc. No other rookie has been blessed. That said one main thing that no-one can deny, by going from 150 bhp to 250 bhp and still having the mindset of a 600 rider. He's used to proper racing and fairing bashing. Apart from Rossi, Crutchlow, Ianone, they are racers but on un-competitive kit. The title challenges DP and JL don't like the fairing bashing type of racing so they will always lose to a riding style of MM. Just watch Moto2 2012 and Motogp 2013 MM is still racing a 600 but with no challengers. I think Rossi recognises that hence the praise.

@wosidog" The similarity to Valentino is almost uncanny." he is NOTHING like Rossi,he is Marquez,he is unique,as for praise from Rossi, well Rossi is a very savvy and cunning fellow,he wont say what he wants to say, he rather says what the punters want to hear,he knows his PR like no other,Rossi hasbeen a champion, alas the era has come to an end.Viva Marquez!!!!!

The only thing in common bewteen these two is that both have been beaten by Dani and Jlo.

As for riding style, MM is nothing like Rossi and more like Stoner if he is like anyone but I think he is just MM and we are about to all see him everyone a lesson

Lets not try and make out that Rossi is the reason this kid is so good, MM has set the path and so far given us the results
