'I gradually caught up with Marc and Jorge, but I wore my tyres out in the process and at the end of the race I lacked grip' - Dani Pedrosa

@ DANI26SAMURAI
I respect your opinion and unfortunately there is no factual evidence that either of us can produce to prove our theory. The fact is there are only a handful that really know what happened. But nevertheless I still think that the way MM has blistered the competition is a bit more than a simple marketing trick. The way he rides and the fact he remained injury free (don't say that the collarbone fractures were also a Dorna trick) are a testament of a great rider. Possibly the greatest we have ever seen. Maybe I am just gullible like the rest of the fans and the media but nevertheless I enjoyed the close battle today and it was a shame that Dani didn't get involved, but who knows maybe, just maybe the poor start did have a negative effect. I really hope for the sake of the sport you are wrong and there were no team orders, but as I said we will never know.

There have never been team orders anywhere near 7 races before the end of the championship. I have to agree with Hoppy's take so far.

I think DP is so fed up with injuries and losing title fights by missing races that he has now become more cautious and clinical. He will only put in a pass when he is certain it will stick without risk of a crash. Unfortunately for us this translates to less passing moves by Dani and fewer opportunities for him to win races now MM is around. I don't think we will se a run from DP like last year and although I hope he will still win races it's probably too late now for him to have a serious shout at the championship.

I hate to read comments like no balls etc., that is just a lack of respect.

If you are a blue pill person, go ahead, live forever in the matrix.
If you took the red pill however, review the entire post races wherever you see Alberto Puig's face. Starting in Indy he looks different, he looks extremely pissed about something. In Silverstone he looked furious but resignated. Dani continuously looked down covering his face with the cap. If Dani gets the boot, Puig gets the boot.
Hormiga Atomica is the golden goose for everybody and The Doctor is endorsing him at every race passing the flame of the sport. But...they are both incredibly talented, not to take anything away from them.

"Why would he do that, then "let" his team mate finish ahead of him?"

@Hoppy,

Posters are giving their opinion . . . that it was team orders. Now you are entitled to dissagree but you cant then turn around and ask what they are thinking . . . they told you already.

Why did he do that?
Team orders!
No, thats bull.
Why did he do that?

Might need a new poster ID. . . homer?

why exactly are people calling for Danis head? and do you really think Honda wil knock him off...i think not!
Honda gets to wrap up the teams and constructors with Dani being on the podium next to Marc. People need to have a good think before they write this stuff up, as long as one of the spaniards in Repsol wins the riders title im sure theyll be happy

I don't believe it was tire that slow him. Tires go out gradually not instantly in one corner.
also in last race he was faster but remained behind but was quick to pounce on jorge once marc was clear.
Next race should clear the fog. one more thing is motogp commentators always try to downplay him, his scorching pace didn't made them excited but like worried.
