Jorge just had to prove to himself that he could beat Marquez, or he would have had a meltdown!! I think though, that if Marc had been fully fit, he would have passed Jorge and won the race. Non the less, it was great racing and Jorge did well. It is always good to see Marc's attitude after any race - he always looks as if he has really enjoyed himself and is dead chuffed!!

Marquez as riding behind Jorge the whole time with ease, you can see everytime at the end of the Hangar Straight his front wheel almost glue to the back wheel of Jorge. He wasn't even hard braking into the corner just follow Jorge smoothly kinda like relaxing himself on his shoulder injury & wating til the end to overtake.

Normally in a heathy condition, u see Marquez brake very hard into the corners but this time he just follow the super smooth Jorge to save energy for the final attack. Very smart kid.

He may lost the win this time, but as he said 2nd is like a win to him. He tried his strategy, if it works would be great & if not he still happy.

Jorge may look happy but he knows deep down a worry face.

Each injury is different and Marquez's body language during the race showed his shoulder didn't make him suffer that much. Same goes at the end of the race, he was smiling and looked quite happy.

Don't get on your high horse though, Marquez's performance was surely diminished by the morning crash and I don't say he was faking it neither ! But remember Lorenzo's face when he finished Assen like a hero (as well as Marquez) and make a fair comparison.
JLo was livid, a dead man walking, you could've expected him to puke at anytime.

No disrespect to MM. He awesome

MM did pass gorge!!
and he never won !!
i don't think even without the morning crash he was going to stop jlo , jlo's determination was second to non and he already knew that the only way to beat him was going to come from his own determination , after brno he knew the bike itself was not going to match the repsols , silverstone was one race where jlo showed true grit and determination that paid off in the face of certain defeat , magnificent performance.

MM plays with JL...he is a student of Rossi. My prediction is that he jumps to Yamaha after 2 years and wins back-to-back races and titles with 2 different manufacturers. It's brilliant to watch! And he LOVES hard racing, unlike his predecessor...

Marquez is riding like he is still on a 600, there is no competition. Pedrosa a choker and Lorenzo on inferior kit. Simples
I am glad JL won but its MM championship to lose.
