So three WC is legend status, then Dorna got it wrong when they gave that status to Stoner last year.

Rossi is proof that if you stay past your prime you look foolish and let's face it, since 2010 performance is beyond lacking that of the old Rossi

"Rossi is proof that if you stay past your prime you look foolish "

@ Podster (and others),

While Rossi is past his prime, I would hardly call 1x1, 1x2, 2x3, 5x4 "foolish".

The fact is, the other 3 are just that good AND rossi is past his prime. Not sure what's foolish about being past your prime and still able to be the 4th best rider in the world.

I would think "foolish" is being the best in the world and riding so hard, driven by the up'n'commer and ONLY finishing 13 secs ahead of someone past their prime.

Comparing these guys at a point in time is one thing (cutos to the bashers now) but when these guys are all in their 70's, sitting on their Lazzyboys reminissing about their hey-days, I have a fair idea who will have the biggest smile and who will feel the most content with what they have accomplished in their chosen profession.

I like it that Stoner fans always give Rossi a hard time when he finishes fourth. That's because they know he is better than those ahead of him. I can also see that they are starting to hate MM because Rossi praises him alot. Look Stoner fans, your boy quit and he left youse. Meaning he does not care! Might as well we all get along and enjoy like the present grid does. Unlike when Stoner was around the negativity was killing the sport. With fists and unsportsmanlike responses flying everywhere.

Rossi the exposed fraud = nine championships

Considering he is an exposed fraud, the result is extraordinary.

Stoner the fastest = two championships

Considering he is the fastest, total failure. A fastest should have won every single race and championship entered.

Who's the exposed fraud again???

Kevin Schwartz was a true legend yet he only won one title ( there are good reasons for this ), I get sick and tired of Rossi fans listing the number of his titles, the majority of which were won against weak opponents.

and. . .

Kevin Schwartz was a true legend yet he never won a title for Ducati ( there are good reasons for this ), I get sick and tired of Rossi bashers listing stoners WC for Ducati, which was won on a faster bike with tailored rubber.

Please, its all tit for tat and yes, for every tit there is indeed a tat.
