DonttesttheX, it is precisely because Redding has been willing to learn that he is turning from an inconsistent tyre shredder into a Championship leader. I'm from his neck of the woods and know someone who works closely with him. Believe me, his listens, learns and works hard. What you see is just the end product. He will have to do it all over again when gets on a MotoGP bike.

Next year, when Espargaro gets beaten by Smith, on arguably equal machinery, and throws the usual temper tantrum, people will be saying it is just his rookie year and pointing at Crutchlow's and Smith's first years. That does not apply to Smith, of course. He should have been winning races like all the other rookies. Oh, wait.
