good lord Realist, anti Rossi statement, lolz. All you do is scan for the word Rossi and assume I am hating. Man u need to get some help. Stay away from the pharmaceuticals too.

btw, the only way you can take that as a Rossi hate statement is to think pretty lowly of Toni, that bit is on u realist. Two podiums might not be adequate in your mind, but Toni knocked both of his in the dry in 2008. This was before the control tire, when Ducati still had a reasonable chance :)

@ pcxmac

Take a sedative man, and breath. I was jabbing at you! For what it's worth, you made it a point to immediately compare him to Rossi (when nobody was even talking about Rossi, at least not in a disparaging manner), so my comment holds merit.

@ rdc

Nope! Never did I call pcxmac's recollection non-factual (..although the comment about "letting him by" as though it were casual may be left up to debate, and I also don't know that 2 podiums, a 2nd and a 3rd, both positions which Rossi also achieved along with a 3rd podium, and a string of finishes outside of the top 10, 11th or worse, really elevates Elias to "better than Rossi" status... Elias finished inside of the top 10 in only 4 races...and that includes the two podium finishes...Rossi's first year at Ducati saw him inside of the top 10 all but 2 races and the 3 DNF's, and the 2nd year, all but 3 races and the 1 RET). I just merely called him anti-Rossi, a title that is mutually exclusive.

Comparing Apples and Oranges a bit thou.

Rossi, was on a factory Ducati, with full bike replacements, vs Elias on a Pramac Ducati, with I would imagine far less support directly from Ducatil

When Elias was on the Ducati the whole field was prototypes vs half the grid on first year CRT's for the second of Rossi's.

One of Rossi's second year podiums came when 2 of the usual 3 podium men were absent from the race (Stoner injured and Pedrosa's nightmare, may as well have not turned up), but all credit to him, he still had to bet the likes of Bradl, Bautista, Dovi, Crutchlow, Spies on better bikes, he deserved that podium. Same token thou, iirc one of Elias Ducati podiums came during the Michilen disaster of 08.

Realist, are you real? he was using the Italian in a positive sense.

PCXMAC depends what you want, to progress or add a bit to your bank account, thats of course if you get paid, rumours suggest Fabrizio didn't. Moto2 is where you get spotted if you have talent, WSB is where you can wobble around and slip into obscurity like Fabrizio, who for me has neve ben that good. One flash of brilliance on the WCM then average in WSB, his last 2 appearances in GP for Gresini and Pramac have been enough to make you giggle.
However with reports of Hayden lapping faster than lap record on the Panigale and commenting on how soft and squishy the tyres were (there you go PCXMAC Pirellis are not a disadvantage for a fast lap) this may be Toni's home, although he was way off the pace on the BMW.
