Bladley, you say that 13th on the grid is just "not ideal"?

No, people say it's a complete 'fiasco'!!!
And no one given the ride on a M1 would say finishing 10th in the race to be an 'amazing' result!!!

Wow, all those "Smith is doing a good job & improving all the time" comments seem to have dried up.

A quarter of the way through the year, & still he can't compete with the other prototypes ... heck he's struggling to beat CRT's, test riders, etc.

All of the above. No need to be churlish.
BUT honestly this has to be classified as the worst performance of the year BY anyone.

To focus on a 10th place finish is giving up before the race.

I cant understand this kid. Bradley your running out of time. You need to finish the season in 7 place.

While I am someone who still believes Brad can make it,that was a bad day at the office. Small crumbs of comfort are that he was almost on the same time as Cal in first qualifying, so clearly Tech 3 are struggling.

As for his comments, don't forget he is English, and we are the experts at understatement !

Just to throw something into the mix

Cals first year at Misano - Qualified 13th and Finished 10th, and of course hes turned out to be dog **** aint he

Get off his case or get on his bike and see if any of you can do better. I for one am not saying BS will ever make a world champ, but that the route of the problem i feel lies in the fact that young british lads are having to go abroad in order to get experience of GP bikes at a young age, THey can run MOTO3 bikes now at BSB events, but where then? Why not put a MOTO2 class in too...

Qualified 13th and finished 10th - they meant having outpaced 4 other prototypes in the quali and defeated another 3 prototypes (7 in total) back in 2011, in Cal's rokie year. I know Smith supporters really like to believe in the tricks and are stubbornly unwilling to do some logical collation, but it's about time they acknoledge they had been wrong about supporting this deceptive kid.

Sorry, but we know what Brits think understatment very often turns out to be an overstatement or just a decent statement. The result at Misano is a good example for that.
