Both Marc and Dani know how determined Jorge is right now so they are going to have to be in top form come Sunday.
Dani, being last years winner here, will obviously be confident that he can do it again.
But he is up against a super fast team mate and an ultra determined defending champion!
This could be one hell of a race!

In the remaining 5 races, if Lorenzo or Pedrosa can do no better than 3 firsts and 2 seconds then all Marquez has to do is finish no worse than third in four of them and second in the other to pull off the championship.
Lorenzo or Pedrosa currently 219 points
add 3 x firsts (25) + 3 x seconds (20) = 334
Marquez currently 253 points
add 1 x second (20) + 4 x thirds (16) = 337

If either Lorenzo or Pedrosa win all remaining five races Marquez still only needs three seconds and two thirds to win the championship.

Neither Pedrosa nor Marquez should stress about Lorenzo grabbing the lead at the start. They will only risk a crash, they should go back to the tactic of playing cat and mouse hunting Lorenzo 3/4 of the race then leave him in the dust, it's a Honda track anyways for sakes !

A point i have noticed is that the postings all relate to Jorge, Marc and Dani. Jorge carries Yamaha's hopes on his shoulders. Honda two to Yamaha's one.
Is it not about time Rossi started to get among the Honda's.

Lorenzo is the only threat to Marquez, other than DNFs. Also Vale is missing something. Whilst it may be too early to be sure, the new Yamaha seamless gearbox seems to be making a big difference as the time gap between Lorenzo and the others has shown in San Marino, this is leveling the playing field in terms of equipment, only time will tell. If I am right Marquez will have to push extra hard to keep up with Lorenzo and this may be to his detriment. As for Pedrosa he aready looks like a beaten horse and Vale does not seem to be up for too much of a fight, 3rd place should go to Pedrosa if Vale does not wake up. Lets face it, with 39 points ahead of Lorenzo, all marquez needs to do is adopt a tactical strategy for the last 5 races... Will his winner instinct prevent him?
