"I've had a lot of discussions with Aprilia and it's a definite possibility but nothing's official yet. The other possibility is a Honda customer bike" - Nicky Hayden.

Could any team truly have a better ambassador than Nicky Hayden?

Still loyal to Ducati even after being shafted and probably going to a different manufacturer.

He gets my vote as a good bloke

Don'testthex, it's hard to crash going that slow.
Rossi had a LOT of crashes, only difference between him and the other rider we're thinking of is that Rossi never got close to crashing out of the lead.
But you're right, their influence is very underrated, they set ducati back more than anyone cares to admit.

There surely is not, never has been or ever shall be a classier rider and human being in a motorcycle racing paddock than Nicky Hayden. Top, top man, great rider and what an ambasador. A credit to the parents that raised him.

"It would be something similar to Espargaro's bike......." Yes, in that it will say ASPAR on the fairing. You watch, if Nicky does in fact go the Aprilia, that bike is going to be a competitive full blown Aprilia prototype MotoGP bike.

I bet Nicky saw the development of this bike while visiting the Aprilia factory and is loving the prospect of riding it. Great guy, great family. Best of luck. That's why Vale likes the Hayden's so much. I'll be rooting for Rog @ Laguna later today.
