What absolute rubbish. Delusional.
He must have conducted most of this interview using his a$$ instead of his mouth.

He's "critical" by calling his season "average"!? REALLY?? I'd called that 'having an inflated opinion of results so far'. Your results have been poor.

"We're ahead of the team & sponsors expectations and targets".
Oh please!! I'm sure that Monster & Herve started the season NOT expecting to have to use Q1 every weekend ... or be 10th in the championship - ahead of only the CRT's & part-time or injured prototype riders.
Less than half the points of his teammate ... shocking.

& seems he thinks his home support is proof he deserves his ride!? Go ask someone unbiased Brad. You'd end up leaving with a red face!

Fullofit? Apt username! So you HAVE the feedback from those IN the know and who HAVE the inside scoop on how well BS is doing - those who DO know what they are talking about?

No you don't. And neither do I. So we can only take what bits of information there are, and take what comes from Herve and others in the paddock at face value.

There are STILL those who flat deny that BS has a lower-spec bike than CC, even though its been widely reported from reliable sources. Seems ppl are biased to want to slate the guy so badly that they are prepared to IGNORE information they don't like, and MAKE UP stuff to undermine the fella!

Please get a life, get some balanced perspective, and ask yourself why you have to get your jollies by hating on any of these guys. Two words.... SEEK HELP!

Sorry, but this mindless slagging of riders by people who can't even use a reasoned argument for their negativity gets tiresome.

Lets spell it out AGAIN. I'll type slowly and in big letters for the hard-of-thinking...

There is a massive disparity in support and equipment through the field, as well the potential for CONTROL of competitiveness that makes valid comparisons between 80% of the field IMPOSSIBLE.

Maybe (MAYBE) the 4 factory HRC/Yam boys have identical support (in their own garages that is) so we might reasonably compare JL v VR, and MM v DP.

EVERYONE else seems to have different kit levels and support. EVERYONE. MotoGP is a mess folks. Slagging riders when you haven't a clue what their equipment is capable of just makes a poster look unpleasant & rather dim.

@ TalentFan, you won't win with these clowns. They don't like facts, gets in the way of their opinionated nonsense. They particularly won't like the fact that Brad has just qualified in 8th, comfortably ahead of the vastly more experienced riders on CRTs and Dukes, and only 0.2seconds behind his teamate. You know the one with two seasons more experience and a better bike.
Brad diplomatically makes the point that these ignorant folks are not worth wasting his breath on. As usual his blog provides an interesting insight.

@ TalentFan

If any other rider from any other country had performed like BS with the level of equipment at his disposal, you would singing from a different hymn sheet!

& for your information ... I was told first hand by an ex-Tech3 rider very much in the know, that the Herve was VERY disappointed in the results so far & wouldn't make the same decision with hindsight.

@Fullofit, I for one wouldn't be singing from a different hymn sheet. Rookies need a season to get to grips with these bikes. Whilst he hasn't set the world on fire, he has done enough to justify a second season.

Using hearsay that couldn't possibly be substantiated is a really cheap shot.

@ Fullofit. I'll take your word for it about the T3 insight.

The results so far don't suggest BS is setting the world on fire - he's admitting this himself. Nor is he having dismal finishes - he's in a sort of no-mans land that seems to make a rider disappear off the radar.

But BS seems to be a whipping boy ever since his ride got announced. Bautista has had his fair share too, though of late haters seem to have forgotten about him (and he didn't deserve most of what he got dished out either IMO).

Bradl escapes largely from criticism, yet he could be seen as an under-achiever given he has the best bike (Honda) and the best supported satellite (factory) ride as well. Yet he doesn't get the vitriol reserved for BS either.

Stoner never got the benefit of the doubt and Smith doesn't either, while others get every consideration. I don't know what it is, or why this happens, but its unnecessary.
