It isn't that a human can't handle 250hp without electronics.
BSB bikes are close to that & don't have traction control.
The problem is that with traction control the rider can wack the throttle full open & the TC handles it.
Suddenly without TC (& no warning it isn't working), twist the throttle full and the result is instant high-side.

The touch did not cause the crash. It was imperceptible. A broken sensor caused the crash. Maybe teams should move the sensor or get rid of traction control. It is currently placed in a location that makes it surprising that even more events of this sort have not occurred in the past.

Hello all

I neither dislike or like dani or Marc however I'm getting a little fed up with race direction having so much input into the championship with effecting the possible out come. From the outside it does seem that politics are really coming to the fore and having an effect outcomes. Let the guys race , hard but fair and may the best rider win.

No wonder why MM is a worthy champion: he was the winner in both two touches with his rivals :JLo and now Pedrosa. Tough as steel and even harder. The only one who defeated him so far was just himself in Austin.
These kind of dog-fight victories may well be seen as a measure of mental strength, as they have been achieved against the main rivals.
If this is the case, a rider who might prevail in such touches with MM, may be the one who will beat him on regular basis. Such rider is yet to come.

'I just touched Pedrosa a little bit' ... just enough for him to high side! And I didn't even wave an apology... As I had to chase down Lorenzo, and next time i will try to kill him or injured him seriously because i have to prove that i am #1(even tough i beat him this year it is not enough) ride at hrc, an even in practice this year i almost touch him for no reason, but no matter i am okay and i am leading the WC

@Toaster That should be roaster!
MM never cause DP to high side DP did that all by himself. If the Honda traction system is that fragile it should be brought to the attention of race control and they should improve it. The notion that MM did something that was dangerous or indeed reckless today is quite honestly laughable. Racing is about taking measured risks the contact between MM and DP was not even enough to cause DP to deviate from his racing line. If there is a fault with the bike Honda must address that asap because it could cause a fatality.

Its all coincidence,, marc went a little hot behind him and touched lightly but did well to limit the magnitude of touch, Dani lost traction for sure but the exact moment at where he lost traction must give the solution to this problem... What I say is throw away the traction control and let riders to wrist control the bike...
