"all the talk on over reliance on electronic is all BS, it has been said time and time again that TC only reduces slip in order to preserve the tyre and reduce low slides due to a worn out tyre"

Posted by Razghost.

If the bike 'adapts' to preserve the tyre, then it maximises available grip and minimises mistakes from corner to corner, lap to lap, flag to flag.

So the rider DOESN'T NEED HIS OWN SKILL TO DO IT! Which means less opportunity for riders make mistakes AND to take advantage of individual skill riding on worn rubber to RACE. If that is that NOT reliance on electronics then I don't know what is. Is that too hard to grasp? Good grief!

well hoppy...

MM just got rid of his main contender. How would you conveniently call this then? a "racing incident"?

Then basically everything that ever happened or will happen on a race track when the lights go out is a "racing incident" (unless you do something like stabbing someones tires with a knife?).

Good then. Nice this "simplified approach":

MM is an innocent rider who does not have to change anything in his "style" as he cannot be blamed for anything during racing anyway: per definition.

Well at least he's got one problem less to worry about.

I am afraid that race direction has ignored and not punished MM for too many incidents for too long.I don't have anything angainst he or any of the racers. But even riding the fence the waving flag incident in England to me was a sign of impending disaster!Had it not been for a screaming marshal/corner worker that just happened to look, and who just happened to be heard?Cal Crutchlow and several others in the trap could easily have been seriously injured or possibly killed by the out of control 93 of MM who claimed not to have seen the waving flags. What concerns me over all of his is that he seems to be very unconcerned by any of this?I truly fear that we are heading straight for another Simoncelli type of disaster and everyone out there including 93 are at great risk of being next? They have ignored the recklessness for too long already?I don't see how direction can in good conscious continue to turn the cheek and insist that it is nothing, simply racing. How come so few/none of the truly

I believe the team when they say that first the TC stopped working and then Pedrosa crashed. They have access to the data, after all. Why people keep coming up with different theories as how the wire got pulled is beyond me.

Harry,i think you will find that Jorge is Marcs main contender in the championship not Dani.
Are you suggesting that Marc deliberately took Dani out,coz thats what it sounds like.
The contact between Marc and Dani was minute. The way you talk you would swear Marc shunted Dani off the track!
What would you want to see happen to Marc?
This is racing not knitting and every now and then riders will come together.
I have seen far more contact between riders than this and it was called "real racing" by most on here.
I guess it all depends who is on the receiving end though eh!

Maybe race direction should watch moto3 and 2 and see how much more contact there is in those categories today. This is nothing more than a freak incident and Honda just needs to redesign that flaw.

Didn't mum tell you to tie your shoe laces when wearing them?
