He didnt get the podium by merit....pedrosa crashed out....and he didnt celebrate as if he earned thats fair enough...

but yeah....after his performance yesterday in qualifying, i think the soft front would have done him some good.....maybe reduced the gap by a few seconds.....

Standing on podium must be a moral boost but it was gifted. qualifying looks ok to be get in striking range but unusually he is having trouble with race pace,, he usually puts up a late charge but not in last three races...

Whatever Bautista is making the most of Rossi's woes... Lost in every battle with Rossi but locking with him in last lap encounters are priceless lessons and he is learning to hold nerves in a great way, look at the last lap tussle with Bradl today... Bautista is really polishing his battle skills by battling with Rossi.

Doesn't matter how he got it! you only get points for crossing the line.
He knows it wasn't a perfect way but he still did it.

Out come all the armchair generals, and school kids who think they know more than Yamaha and Rossi.

Good ride from Rossi who hung in there to get the podium.
Bautista on the other hand is only there to hinder on Hondas behalf, he's a bloody danger to the sport, so is Barbera. Look at the way they hang back for a tow in quali, espargaro too. It doesn't reflect well on them

Dovi gets 4 podiums by default in 2012 because of Stoner injuries - crash hails him as a great talent and likely to get next factory yamaha seat

Crutchlow gets a gifted podium at Philip Island in 2012 from Pedro's crash and people are praising him as another alien

Rossi wins 9 world championships and gets 1 gifted podium today out of the 100+ he has and people are as usual crapping him and calling it luck..

It doesn't matter for someone who is crippled by his team to prevent him from shaving of points from the #1. Glad to see Marc there, I hope he doesn't repeat Rossi's mistake and stay at Honda till he retires. with his skills and Honda machinery Yamaha will not win another championship.
