I wish him a full and quick recovery. In spite of the usual cynics on Crash who like to dig at him and his Dad at every opportunity, the fact is that Abaja is a good rider who is as worthy of his space on the grid than any other. He is also one hell of a nice guy who ALWAYS has time for people.

@RSMick - are you KA's sponsor? You only ever seem to appear to big him up!

I personally don't rate him. The reason he has a shoulder injury is because he falls off all the time. Usually in every session then the race...if he can start it. It was only a matter of time before it took its toll.

Yes I'm sure, people big Rossi up all the time yet this guy has out qualified him on a bike that Rossi has discarded as rubbish. Like Shuggie says people slate him because of his dads money, and people back Leon Haslam who is in virtual the same boat. People say he was no good in 250 but with Laverty it was the bike that was rubbish even though it was the same bike, at the time Laverty quit KA had 4 times the points.
Money will not buy you the best GP bike and he gets hurt because he pushes bikes that are below par to the limit, like Stoner one day he will find he can control the limits, he won't be as good but he will stop crashing.
The guy even admitted than the ART is not the problem its him, and he is riding it the wrong way like he rode the Ducati but needs corner speed. One reason why he did so well in first year on the Ducati he didn't know how a GP bike should be ridden.
Remember he was 3 corners from beating Cal Cruthlow to rookie of the year in 2011.

@rsmick. Thank you sir, someone else who sees the hypocrisy in all the talk of his Dad's money. Casey Stoner's parents sold up EVERYTHING to take him to go race in the UK for his career. Something Stoner did not think about when making snide remarks at Abaja. Very few of these guys are from sink hole estates, You simply don't get to race motorcycles at a young age unless someone is sinking a shed load of cash into it for you. Karel is as deserving as many on that grid.
