re: "but the "aspiration and dream" is to race in the premier MotoGP class."

gotta have a dream. herrin's definitely the best the rest. been watching his career since he showed on the radar, people may have forgotten, he has a bit of marquez in him. the good parts, not the bad.

Hopefully this new project will make Herrin shine because the other teams will have a jump and experience on him and he has tracks and a whole new bike and new team (to motorbike racingand him) to learn....

I really do not have much expectations of him next year but I hope he shows flashes and then have an all out assault in his 2nd and third year!!...please prove me wrong... because I want the kid to do well

No direspect but unless he is just magical in his first year...he will be in this class for 2-3 years before he is able to show something major and move to MGP!!

They seem to be interested in developing something different from the identikit bikes we see from everybody. I do hope to see someone put a serious effort into innovative motorcycle chassis design. Any suspension engineer will tell you the conventional fork should not be the dominant front suspension it is. The thing is nobody has had the determination to try and race something better, for fear of the unknown, so all we see in that respect are half-hearted efforts.
