As usual, these times mean nothing!

Listen you don't get points for practice, or being first in qualifying, Statistic mean nothing either.

You get points for crossing the line in the race!.... had you all forgotten that.

If this was F1 you may have a point if the race was on some nasty Monaco road where it's near on impossible to overtake... but it isn't . It's MotoGP which is a lot more unpredictable.
People fall off, people crash, people crash and get hit, it can rain. A multitude of things can happen.

I cannot believe you're all holding on to noddy practice times( Probably because want you to ).

FFS grow up!!! at least wait until the end of qualifying before wetting yourself.

Actually Rhino is reasonably correct they don't mean a lot! If you go to the appropriate page you will find the data and yes so far you are correct JLo is setting the pace but the only other rider who has consistent fast times is in fact Rossi ! But of course that means nothing!

rhino is right, they do mean nothing. Just the first day of practice gents, theyre still alot of time tomorrow for the rest to catch up.
And for all the oohing and aahing of Lorenzo metronomic laps during practice, how many races has he actually won come sunday? ouch..

Must agree, he is still WC because he has out performed / scored more points total then anyone else.

I don't have favorites in this sport really, but I think the fact he is becomes WC (Pending he does anything can happen) in his rookie year will outweigh who had more race wins. Look at Moto2 Scott hasn't won too many yet been consistent.
