"Everyone could race, the rules were the same for everyone and the crowd got to see a race" - Cal Crutchlow.

Is Crutchlow still a "racer" i ask myself? He owes Yamaha absolutely nothing yet he had numerous opportunities to attempt to pass Rossi into the hairpin after Lukey heights yet he just followed him around like a obedient little puppy dog. If the roles had been reversed (& were) do we think that Rossi wouldn't have tried to get back in front at all costs? He may be the Spaniards' whipping dog but at least he did what Crutchlow should have had a go at doing.

Crutchlow's season is over. He has achieved what he wanted - to get a factory ride. Although it's the factory that pays its riders the least money, getting 2.5million US dollars is a big deal.

As for his riding abilities - the chap just cannot learn how to overtake. Make a challenge. He can pass riders like Bradley, but when it comes to making a serious challenge like overtaking Rossi, he fails miserably. He only got in front of Rossi before the pit-stop because Rossi missed his breaking into the Southern Loop, which allowed Cal to pass without even trying.

Next year we will be in for a treat watching Crutchlow race and then listening to his constant excuses.

The topic here is about Crutchlow and not Rossi.

But just to give you a flavour of the great man - Rossi has nothing to prove - he is already 9 times a world champion, unlike Crutchlow who has been in MotoGP for 3 years now, made 50 starts and achieved 'zero' (0) wins. Crutchlow has 6 podiums in three years...and, Rossi has 6 podiums including 1 win just this season.

You are comparing an apple with an olive...and if Ducati don't get their act together for next year, you can expect to see Crutchlow way down the field.

Duque,Your the one drawing comparisons between Rossi and Crutchlow,I'm saying he is always dicing with satellite riders, if you want comparisons take a look at people on equal machinery -Lorenzo and Rossi and then tell me who in your esteemed opinion who is the better.I know which one is the better rider and it isn't Vale.

There is always an excuse waiting to escape from CC's grille. Compare how NH comports himself to how the incoming rider does. The Ducati PR staff will have their hands full next season for sure.

@ camathias

Look at your first comment above and you will see that it was you drawing comparisons. You don't even know what you are talking about.

Calm down and you might just manage to see the reality.

wow,you lot are talking complete rubbish. if Crutchlow is so rubbish even though he has 2 pole positions and 4 podiums this year, then what does that make people like Bautista,Bradl,Dovisioso and Haydon then????? He is the top satellite rider by far and you cant say he has the best bike, cos Bautista and Bradl both have factory Hondas, yet he beats them easily week in week out.As for Hayden,,9 years riding factory Hondas and Ducatis with just 3 wins!!!!! And Hayden hasnt even had 1 podium on a factory Ducati.I bet Crutchlow will have a much better record on the Duc than Hayden
