Such a huge shame. Not just for MotoGP but for two-wheeled motorsport in general. Despite the "out of site - out of mind" effect that seems to have happened to Ben during this year, the confirmation that he won't be appearing in GP or WSBK again is just sad. The guy is a top rider and his career shouldn't have come to an end this way. Great guy, great rider and a great loss to the sport as a whole. Good luck Ben

More of issues in his head than an injury retirement in my opinion.

Went a little strange in the 2nd year of his Yamaha factory contract & always thought his relationship with his Mum was all very strange!

Had an amount of talent but wouldn't consider him a hero or one to remember in MotoGP

Good luck though in whatever you choose to do

I completely agree with you. Anyhow this isn't just bad for the sport, but also for american talent especially at a time where americans are becoming less of a thing on the international scene in terms of motorcycle racing.

Anyhow for Ben I hope for the best.
