Honda reveals test rider was just 0.3s slower on new Production Racer than factory RCV!

At the presentation, HRC revealed that with former champion Casey Stoner testing both bikes on the same day (and same tyres) the difference between the Production Racer and full factory RCV was only 0.3s. And when they put in the softer compound open class rear tyre, the gap was less than 0.2s!

Thats impressive.

Errr - why is it showing Stoner as being awesome when he was riding both bikes? You don't really think he is better on one and not the other do you?
Its an impressive bike and I have a feeling it may well bring the field closer to the front four. However that tyre (as at the end of the day - it's all about tyres) might just make a difference at certain tracks. That said - .3 of a second is 6 - 8 seconds at the end of a race where it does not...
