Well, last year Lorenzo won the title with Pedro winning more GPs and possibly deserving it more.

This year Lorenzo loses it by winning more GPs and possibly deserving it more -and while being the strongest rider on track I believe-.

Not always the best one wins but that's how it goes, he wasn't lucky this season.

A new era has begun.

Marc will only go from strength to strength.

A lot of people saying how smartly Lorenzo managed the race, but the rookie would not be puled in by any of the bait.

Marc, in my opinion was the one who should be admired for race management. He had everything to lose, Lorenzo did not. And Marc delivered a mature and composed performance.

Jorge won last season while Pedrosa won more races. But at looking at that season, Jorge was managing his points lead several races from the end to ensure that title. That's a bit different than this year. MM and JL were out to win each race right to the end and the win tally shows who was the faster man. Marc didn't manage crap this race. He tried to lead, and couldn't handle the pace when Jorge decided no one was there to help him. Good for Marc, but my respect goes to Lorenzo.

@ Bozzo,

it sounds a bit crude, but I agree with you that Rossi just did not want to help Lorenzo..!

Now, I think about it, perhaps, in Motegi too, he could've purposely ran wide!

And no, I am not insulting the 9-time champion, but seriously, it is not good for Yamaha to keep a non team player, who has pretty much gone off his sell-by date..!

Looking at the crowd reaction, I think maybe some Rossi fans' have jumped ship to Marquez's side..!

93 had more points than 99 and is therefore champion. Jorge deserves a medal for his second half of the season but as there are none to give it doesn't matter.

I am sure Jorge will raise his game in 2014 to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Rossi finishes best of the rest again and Dani well .....
