Early days for the proddy bikes but.....

Me thinks that Casey Stoner 0,3 slower from the factory bike to the proddy bike is a bit decieving. Casey ain't like any other rider the guy is king alien the only thing to understand about him is that he is a freak on a bike.

@V4Poweeeer. I don't believe Honda's claims, not after they brought out the SP2 and told the world the production racing version would be almost as quick as Edwards factory bike. Ended up hardly being able to pull the skin off a rice pudding. I suspect something similar with the RCV1000R. Gonna be a few bright eyed punters wondering how they fell for it, methinks. Afterall, they only have Honda's word that Stoner was .3 of a second slower than on the works bike. Next thing you know, they will want to sell these guys a used car. LOL.

Oh yeah, I also wanted to say that if Lorenzo ever doubted MM was riding at 50% on Sunday, he now knows it's true.

Spot on at a million odd euro a pop theres gotta be some false pr/marketing mumbojumbo stats that means squat.

The thing with Hayden is add the time he would average to Stoner on the same equipment then add 0,3 of a second suddenly Hayden ain't likely to see the rear end of Pedrosa let alone Marc or Jorge but may challenge Bautista or Bradl on their off days.

My guess is Stoner was playing the pr game as best as he possibly could but he did let slip the bike was down on power, then went on to say he would only return if the bikes had more power and no electronics.

Like I said though early days for the proddy bikes.....Pretty cool if everyone was racing one though. Seems like a good direction for the championship imo.
